Location was great. It was right next to the Anaheim Resort Transit stop which took us right to Disneyland. We had the one ... queen size bed room with a sofa and it was great to have all that space. the walls are really thin so, there was quite a bit of noise from other guests. I was disappointed that even though we hung our towels as the sign said to if we didn't want fresh towels everyday to help conserve energy and water they still replaced our towels. I would have liked to save them the water and energy. The front desk staff wasn't friendly. Customer Service didn't seem to be a priority to them. The free breakfast was okay. It saved us some money a couple of days but, I got bored quickly with it and needed a real breakfast the third day. Overall it was fine. The location was the best part. I just had something unexplained happen that makes me question staying there again.

When I checked in they were nice to check us in with no charge but soon things turned nasty. Our hotel keys never worked and ... every time we came back we had issues with them. The rooms were dirty and the outlets to plug stuff in were falling apart. You could barely keep a phone charger in. Although Disneyland was only 2 blocks away it would have been better and more worth it to spend an extra 10-20 bucks a night and upgrade to a nicer place.

The door to our room didn't shut properly and looked like it had been jammed open. The door jam was broken, which didn't make ... me feel all that safe. Although the hotel is only a mile from the Disney resort, it is at the end of the hotel area. Not many restaurants or stores in the area, and is more a residential area.

It was a very basic hotel, it wasn't dirty but the rooms have definitely seen use. Clean sheets, clean bed, good shower. A ... decent place to stay for a night if your on a budget without having to worry about who used the room before you. The continental breakfast is rather small, only cereal and waffles. Also the two block walk from the hotel to the park is actually more like 6, no big deal but its not what was advertised.

We went to Disneyland and Universal studios. We got two ajoining rooms. Both rooms were old and a little beat up. The ... bathroom was small but functional. I did not like the small round toilet, much prefer a elongated toilet. Like my picky wife and sister stated it is no Hilton, but I reminded them of the saving and they laughed and warmed up to the room immediately. The staff was friendly, breakfast setup was nice. Money is tight these days and I would rather spend our money on having fun. After all we only needed the room for sleep and we slept wonderfully. We would use again but my wife would rather it be the Hilton when we can afford it.

Don't Stay here!!
Well traveled Sep 26, 2009
We stuck it out because it was cheap and we were spending our entire days at Disney. They say there are great ... fireworks...that's putting a positive spin on it. Try listening to what sounds like a wrecking ball hitting the hotel at 10pm every night. I've NEVER in my life been so close to fireworks that I thought the building would collapse. I could, however, have endured the close proximity if the hotel had been even marginally maintained. We should have stayed at a Motel 6. One night even my pillowcase had a grease stain on it. The WHOLE hotel was very run down. The only amenity that was ok was the breakfast

Overall, it was a great experience. The only advice I would give is not to book a first floor room. The people upstairs ... were very loud and woke me up both mornings prior to 6AM. THere's not much you can do about that except to take an upstairs room and try to be more considerate to the people downstairs then these people were to me.

Great Stay!
BallisticsGirl Sep 16, 2009
We actually took a spur of the moment trip to disneyland resort in California, and the hotel was by far the cheapest. The ... staff was very friendly, letting us know where things were around the area, their typical hours, and they had a fairly decent continental breakfast spread as well. (make you're own waffles; you can't beat that!) Two days into the stay I busted my knee at one of the Disney parks and the hotel offered to have a company bring out a wheelchair for me to use for the remained of the trip within 45 minutes of mentioning it (for the price of the rental of course, but no charge from the hotel specifically) and we regretted not taking advantage of it. We're one of those families that would prefer to make their own beds, get their own things and whatnot rather than having housekeeping come in and do it for us because of things having come up missing in other vacations at other hotels. So when we needed new towels, soap, lotion, cups (for amazing tea and coffee) they were happy to supply them to us, and made sure that we were well taken care of. The room came with mini fridge, phone, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, microwave, double sink, heavy drapes, and more. It also had two queen beds, which worked out wonderfully; (should have asked for extra pillows though) the beds weren't too hard, or so soft you fall to the floor, you we're able to sleep comfortably which meant a lot since we had a child and two people with medical conditions that typically prevent them from sleeping. The A/C worked brilliantly! We always crank the ac up when we're in hotels, the colder the better because it allows us to sleep better. Anyway, it got so cold that we had to turn the ac virtually all the way down, and on low fan, and it STILL froze the room! Loved it!!!! The bathroom wasn't all that bad either, the toilet was super loud, which even with the bathroom door shut may wake up people sleeping in the room, The shower bar it rather unique because it bends outwards from the shower, giving you more arm-space than normal, and allowing you to take a comfortable shower without getting water everywhere because of the curtain moving. What was really cool is that the shower head had two different nozzles, if you turned it to the left, then you got a really great massage, and if you kept it to the right, it was like a normal shower. The only problem we had with it was that there was a little bit of rust around the water holes. I honestly really didn't have any other complaints, save for the fact that there was wallpaper peeling under the sinks, but you're not going to notice it unless you use the space down there to store things as we did. I fully intend on staying there again, had a blast! May return for Christmas in the Park in December!

Oh and I know that it says that its two blocks away from Disneyland, um... Its way more than that and I HIGHLY suggest you don't try to walk it. We had a rental car and just parked in the parking structure, and yes there is a shuttle but its $3 per adult for an all day pass... Well when we added it up for our group of four it was just easier to park our car there because it was an all day pass and only $12, which turned out to be the same price... Just a little FYI. Another helpful hint is that there is a Disney Outlet Store, about a ten minute drive away from the hotel! We bought all but two things there for our souviners and saved a good two hundred dollars! Look it up its worth the drive, and the time!

Slippers for SURE! Sep 10, 2009
My husband and I wanted to stay somewhere inexpensive and close to Disneyland. The web site for this Hotel states that it is ... 2 blocks from the main gate. The 2 blocks must be mistaken for 2 miles! The hotel is located way far north of Disneyland where you have to cross a busy over pass. The hotel does provide a shuttle, however, we chose to take the city bus which worked out great! The office staff was not overly friendly and didn't offer much help. When we arrived in our room, the first thing we noticed was that it smelled misty and moldy. And the next thing we noticed was the carpets! They were FILTHY! We dared not take off our shoes. The rest of the room was fine. The bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Our advice is, wear slippers when walking in your room and go to the hotel just for sleep!

Two Blocks is a 15- 20 minute walk
Disney Tourist Aug 31, 2009
The walk to Disney is two city blocks (15 to 20 minutes brisk walk), including crossing a bridge over the freeway and on and ... off ramps (without the assistance of lights we had to wait for a courteous driver to allow us to cross) The expectation of a Hotel when it is actually a Motel where your car is parked out in front of your room. Some areas require minor repair, broken tiles in common area. Hairdryer that was in room did not work. Room safe does not have a key as they are in the process of changing them to electronic safes but if you want you can bring your valuables to the front desk to lock up in their safe. For a Ramada it left alot to be desired. Breakfast was typical donuts, waffle maker, and two cold cereals. Orange Juice was good but apple juice dispenser was empty both days. Pool is adequate but broken plastic furniture took away from pleasure of cooling off. Pool hours state open at 8:00 am but at 10:00am went to front desk and asked for the gate to be unlocked. Room was clean, linen was fresh, but the black stains from the black top of the driveway and parking area was so crusty I refused to walk on the carpet without shoes.
