The three big setbacks
The traveler Nov 6, 2009
We arrived in LA at two-three in the morning, booked our room and couldn't check in until noon we had to stay at the motel ... six for a little while. Also these hotel claims to have a mini kitchen but doesn't have a microwave other than that the staff was friendly and the stay was nice. the wifi in my room didn't work either. If they change the check- in policy, add microwaves and a better wifi signal I'd stay their again.

run-down, but close to airport
couple Oct 26, 2009
The hotel is quite close to the airport and the car rentals. It is quite run down, not great looking. The rooms are decent, ... though not smelling great. There was no microwave. The water from the faucet tastes beyond terrible, use the vending machine water bottle (pricey). Breakfast is free and so is wireless. The breakfast coffee is bad, use the one inside room. You cannot print anything at the hotel lobby, without paying for their high-priced internet-only computer at the front desk. I always got a place to park my compact car. The person who runs the hotel, [...] was very friendly and helpful, but another older person at the front desk for most time was very rude and unfriendly for no reason. There is a very affordable Indian restaurant (Aladin) near by, and you will also find the usual fast food restaurants very close by.

HORRIBLE place to stay
Horribly Dissappointed and Ripped off Oct 21, 2009
Stay at your own risk! I had to check out a day early and wasn't even given a receipt. Nothing about this hotel was nice nor ... as advertised. So-called "new" shower experience was a shower head commonly found in most homes. Being that i just got back from Iraq, I felt like I just went back again by staying at this hotel. All this did was show me how the war has impacted me. I might decide to get counseling from VA for PTSD after staying at this hotel! I also requested a non-smoking room, but was greeted by the putred smell of smoke and stained walls when I arrived. I guess they take out their ash-trays to make the room a non-smoking room. If second hand smoke doesn't kill, the smell sure does. I am still trying to get back the sleep I lost due to the prostitutes walking outside my room and the banging of doors. And to confirm to what i have said, why does the hotel attendant surround himself with bullet-proof glass? All doors that lead to him are locked and a bell must be rang in order to access him - even for fresh towels. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, or anything for that matter.

Hotel is surrounded by convenience stores advertising cheap liquor and peddlers attempting to sell you stolen fake rolex watches. Did I mention the prostitutes? Lonely? Your next companion is right around the corner. After that to make yourself feel better, If you are feeling like a good samaritan there is also plenty of homeless people lurking around awaiting someone to be kind enough to spare a buck or two

Daisy Oct 20, 2009
I stay in this hotel during my last business trip alone, It's not far from the airport of Los Angeles. Helpful staff. But the ... shuttle service annoyed me a lot, they run from 3:00PM to 12:00AM everyday, be careful, if your plane arrive at 11:30AM to 2:00PM, you might probably have no other economic alternatives to get there, but taxi. Another thing that need to be improved is the ventilation, the heavy smell made me feel sick, seems like sanitizer or something else. But honestly the room is clear.

Wilson Oct 7, 2009
We stayed at this hotel after dropping my sister off at LAX and moving closer to Disneyland. It's a great place for doing ... just that, if your looking for a room with a bed and shower with a great price this is the place. The staff always seemed to be preoccupied with something else but since we were only there for one night we didn't really mind.

Great Location for the price
Ferbis Sep 8, 2009
Hotel staff help us find a city tour but they charged way too high. $20 per person. All the staff were very accommodating and ... were committed to help each guest. The Hotel location is the most I want, close to many restaurants and to transportation too. We're satisfied with the complimentary breakfast with our 4 nights stay. As compare to the previous trip we have, this one is a little bit better.

Wouldn't recommend
Jewel Jul 30, 2009
I needed a place to stay one night at the start of my vacation. I chose the Ramada because I was looking for a certain ... standard. This Ramada did not meet that standard. The rooms were passable. The clerks kept giving me the run around. My t.v. didn't work and I was told I would have to talk to a manager, who came on at 11 p.m. (I was flying out at 5:00 a.m.). I called the manager at 11:15 and was told I would have to talk to the manager that came on at 7 a.m. Obviously that wasn't possible. I missed the program I wanted to watch, the room was barely passable, the location awful (conmvenient to airport was the one plus), and apparently they don't care about repeat customers because I sure won't go there again.

Marine Mom Jul 7, 2009
When we arrived at the hotel, we were a bit worried by the neighborhood it was in. Very close to LAX, but in a bad part of ... town. Fortunately the hotel has a private, gated parking lot. And it was wonderful. The staff was very nice (even at 1:00 a.m.) and the room was perfect. Spotless, comfortable beds, big fluffy pillows, very nice!
