When we checked in our room, we decided to go out for dinner. When we returned to our room, we noticed dirty towels on the ... bathroom floor, which weren't there when we left. The maintenance man, apparently, tried to fix the toilet. I didn't like that very much for the simple fact all of our belongings were in the room. Nothing seemed to be missing, but management never mentioned anything to us about the toilet when we checked in. I immediately called the front desk and asked for another room. The first room was a party room, from the appearance. There were stains on the lamp shades (all of them), not to mention the toilet, and there were stains on the walls. The second room was a little better. There were no stains on the walls or lamp shades. Also, the toilet was in working condition. Overall, I will not stay at another Ramada Inn, nor will I go through [...]. I think you get the bad rooms that employees cannot clean thoroughly when someone purchaces tickets online versus in person. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. I have gone to hotels, with no toruble at all, and the first time I pay online, a bad experience happens. I will no longer reserve a room online, just to be on the safe side.

Didn't Evem Meet My Expectations for $39

I've traveled every week for years as a consultant all over the US and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. ... The staff was beyond unfriendly, if you could find them. Security doors didn't lock so anyone could get in to the hotel after hours. Most of the electronics in the room (refrigerator & lights) didn't work in my room. There were no towels in my room the first night and couldn't find anyone to ask for more and it was only 9 PM. I had a non-smoking room, but the room next to me was a smoking room so the smell made its way into my room which was absolutely disgusting and smelt like a bar as did the entire floor. Even for $39/night I would expect all the basics(i.e. cleanliness, front desk availability, electronics and lights in room to work, basic security, etc.)

This was a last minute weekend getaway, and with that being said, the stay was great. The hotel was exactly what was ... expected, as it should be. It was clean, close to our destination, and had a nice pool. For the price, it was worth the stay, and I would stay there again. The only problem was that I felt the staff could have been more educated on the hotels policies, and pricing. I had a small issue at check-in, and am still trying to resolve it. Other than this, which could have been an honest mistake, I would recommend this hotel.

If you are visiting Kings Island or The Beach, I recommend driving the short 20 minute drive into Newport, KY. There are many places to shop, dine, and attractions. Such as, Ride the Ducks (Ohio River), and the Newport Aquarium. My family spent the whole day entertained somewhere that was not planned or expected!

Convient to our activity.Reasonably priced. However, frig had mold all over the inside.I imagine it hadn't been cleaned out ... for some time. The faucit fell off because a screw was missing. So it was a bit tricky using it. The bathtub drain was clogged.Although they did fix it when I requested them to.It was suppose to be a non smoking room but you could smell smoke.

We were on a weekend family excursion to Kings Island and the Cincinnati Museum at Union Terminal. The location of the hotel ... was GREAT! We were only a few short minutes from Kings Island, and there were a ton of restaurants nearby. The indoor pool was very nice, a little chilly, but I don't think they have turned on the heater for the winter months yet as is has been warm up until very recently, so it was understandable. The HOT tub was HOT and very relaxing. A lot of people were hanging out in the front lounge watching football which was nice if you were in the mood for some socialization. Our room was very quiet and had everything that you could need, microwave, fridge w/ freezer, coffee pot, and hair dryer. Everything was clean and up to par! The continental breakfast was a good spread, and the best part, it's free! Staff was friendly, price was right, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a decent, affordable place to stay for the weekend.

This was overall a good hotel for the price we paid. The rooms we nice and clean, zero complaints about the room itself. ... Beds were suprisingly comfy also! There was only one elevator in the whole place so in the morning we had to wait in line to go down. The elevator is very old too and had a bad smell. Breakfast was nice they had 2 waffle makers which was easy and quick to make a warm breakfast. They also had donuts, toast, french toast, cereal, juices, coffee, and milk. The kids enjoyed the pool was it is very small. They night we stayed there were sooo many kids in it that I wouldnt even get in. There is also a little hot tub too. Very close to kings island and easy access to the highway.

We usually stay at a Marriott and now I know why. The room was suppose to be a smoke-free room but you could tell as soon as ... you opened the door that someone had been smoking in the room. The room was not very clean, the bed uncomfortable and the bath towels were so small that they barely wrapped around you. We will not be staying at another Ramada facility. We picked this one because of the price and location; we were only going to be in the room to shower and sleep (king's island all day on Wed. and a water park all day on Thur. prior to heading back to Indy). I will say that they did move us at 11:00 p.m. to another room due to the air conditioner not working right in our room.

This hotel was very nice for the money, and only about 5 minutes from Kings Island. Room had a microwave and fridge, so that ... was nice for keeping our cold cuts fresh for meals. Room was very clean and set up nice. Didn't go in pool, but it looked really nice and had a hot tub, too. The free breakfast was very nice and had many choices also. Several restaurants within walking distant and many more within a short drive. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other families staying in the area.

As we first entered, the grounds were very nicely kept. The hotel lobby and halls reeked of chlorine due to the small pool ... and hot tub nearby. The tiny elevator was worn out with old peeling paint, and words carved into the door. They only have smoking rooms available for Orbitz, and other online customers. Our toilet wouldn't flush from the beginning, so we called the front desk. They said we could come down and get something to try to fix it ourselves, but they couldn't leave the desk. We ended up with an upgraded room because we asked, and didn't feel like doing plumbing work on a dysfunctional toilet. There is HBO on channel 4- not channel 3 as listed in the room. Overall, we got a great price through Orbitz (better than we could have got through the hotel directly), and it is a great location (next door to Chick Fila, and other restaurants/ shopping). They ran out of forks at breakfast, but the waffles were good (you have to wait in line to cook them because that is the best thing they offer). There are hard boiled eggs, apples and pears, cereal, bagels and donuts- no meat. The staff is very friendly. Good value, but Ramada needs to invest in updating the elevators, TVs, add DVD players, more plastic silverware and some type of meat or biscuits & gravy for the breakfast
Traveler type: Family
Go to breakfast early before all the forks, and the good selection of fruit/donuts are gone. You won't have to wait in line as long for the Belgian waffle maker too.
