Relocation Visit

We were visiting the area for possible relocation for my job. The area around the hotel is questionable. There is a Shoneys ... restaurant that is boarded up two businesses down from the hotel. Bad first imptression. This is an older hotel that is being updated however the room size is what you would expect back in the seventies and eighties...(small). The staff were nice and accommodating. The deluxe continental breakfast is not deluxe in my opinion. They could make the breakfast better by maybe serving a hot breakfast and a newspaper in the morning. Last but not least, how about fixing the vending machines as well. If they dont want to do any of these suggestions then lower the prices to the standard of hotel that it really is.

yearly long weekend stay

Have stayed at this hotel in the last 3 years, six or seven times. The desk staff have always been super nice. The rooms ... could use some updating. This last time we stayed, the toilet leaked and the back part of the bathroom floor stayed damp. Last year when we stayed, the toilet was almost clogged but would flush after several times. I can overlook a lot of things, but a completely functional bathroom is a must. I like all the aminities at this hotel and the location is good for us, but I feel like on our next trip, we may look somewhere else.

the good, the bad and the ugly

stay its self was great!but they had me give them my own credit card saying that the one room wasn't paid for, and they ... needed to hold my credit card until the room went through, they told me they would not charge me card if the room went through on the oringal credit card that was used on line to book our rooms! well as it turned out there was never a problem with the credit card and they still charged my own personal credit card anyway! no I am fighting with them trying to get the money back that was charged to my own credit card!!!!!
