Hotel had great view of the falls. You have to pay extra for the view but well worth it. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Pool ... and gym very small.

Although most well known chain restuarants are short walking distance. They are very expensive. We went to IHOP and typical dish that costs $7.99 in the states, cost us $18.99! Be prepared to spend alot of money on food or go a little further into the outskirts for reasonably priced dining.

We went to Niagara and Toronto for our honeymoon. We decided to stay two nights in Niagara two days into our trip, and we ... still got a great room last minute. The view was only slightly blocked by the Mariott, but was lovely anyways. We could see the falls even though it was called a "riverview" room. The rooms were cleaned and comfortably sized, and my wife loved the sleepnumber bed. We would definately consider Radisson on future trips. Parking was the only issue, there was a parking lot, but it was valet only and I don't think they even parked our car out in the lot. (I like having access to the car to get forgotten things, etc.) It also cost $20 a night, and valet service seemed hit or miss for having our car ready in 15 min after we called.

Try Niagara-on-the-lake (north 20-30 min) for more quality restaurants in the mid-price range. We ate at Epicurian Cafe, nice dishes ($20-$30). Beware though that the town is a total tourist trap, shopping is tacky and overpriced...wouldn't be caught dead in posession of a single thing on that strip.

Not quite sure if we were located in the older side of the hotel, but it was evident that the place had been around for a ... while. The location was great, very close to horseshoe falls and we were able to walk everywhere. $20/night for parking.

THE GURU, Indian Restaurant was fantastic!! It's located near the moving theater, and Mama's (something or other) Italian restaurant. The attentive waiter, ambiance, and food were all spot on. I really can't say enough about this place, it is the perfect restaurant if you like great authentic food and a warm atmosphere.

very business like, tried to be curtious, but never offered to take luggage in or out, I never saw anything in my paperwork ... that mentioned a $20 a day parking fee, seems that would come with the room. The falls view that I recieved was minimal at best. Other than that we had a great time.

The staff were very pleasant and efficient. The beds were rather soft and lumpy. Wanted a drink at 10:00 PM but the ... restaurant/bar was already closed. The Tony Roma's (attached to the hotel) had no take-out cups in the morning so I had to go across the street to Starbucks at the Embassy Suites to get coffee with real milk (as opposed to the powder available with the in-room coffee maker.)

I highly recommend taking a tour of the falls. By the time you factor parking costs and waiting in line, the tours including the Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist are well worth the money.

Petey Aug 8, 2009
Since the hotel is located in the Fallsview Resort area, visitors have convenient access to the incline railway which will ... bring them to the falls for viewing. The hotel is halfway between Marineland and the Clifton Hill entertainment district minimizing the traveling distance to either of these entertaining venues. The hotel is near a large variety of enticing restaurants, the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort as well as the Skylon Tower.

Great Location & Price! :)
Jill & Rog Aug 6, 2009
My boyfriend & I stayed @ Radisson Hotel & Suites Fallsview from Aug.1-Aug.4,2009. We were on vacation to see the falls for ... the first time! We also stayed within our budget when booking the hotel. I loved the valet service, they always had the car ready in 15 minutes. The only thing I didn't like was that there isn't enough parking on the site, so they drive your car down the block to a bigger parking lot and they're not responsible for whatever happens to your car! The jacuzzi in the bathroom was wonderful and so was the a.c. in the room! We had a spectacular view of the falls & our hotel was in perfect walking distance to all the main attractions & places to eat! Whatever you do tho, don't get dressed near the window w/out the curtain's closed b/c other ppl in the other hotels across the street can see you! We put up a "service" thingy on the door to have our room cleaned after the first night and the bed was the only thing made, and just barely. We didn't have new towels either, the wet ones were still hanging up. We had to call that night to get more towels sent up to the room b/c we wanted to take showers. The next time they cleaned the room, was much better. The Sleep Number Bed was sooo comfy!! Also, the hotel is very knowledgable about how to get to places with transportation! They were very helpful w/ maps! :) The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly! There was a Tony Roma's in our hotel, but it was never open.

I highly recommend the $6.99 Breakfast Buffet's that are located close to the hotel! :) My Cousin Vinny's is awesome for dinner! Watch out for drinks tho-thats where they get you! You can't order a free glass of water in any restaurant in the area! It's always a bottle of water for almost $4!

The location is pretty good- close to restaurants and incline railway to the falls. The view form our room was great. ... However, the bathroom looked like it hasn't been properly cleaned in months with black stains on most of the grout in the shower and in the sink. Filthy carpet with endless number of stains. Our room had a jacuzzi in it which was also very dirty with orange mold stains on and around the jets. The hotel needs an upgrade and a good cleaning.

Beautiful Fallsview Room with Jaccuzi
Road Tripper Jul 27, 2009
We went to the Radisson at Niagara Falls, Ontario for a one night stay on a road trip from Boston to Chicago. We stayed there ... to split up the drive from Chicago back to Boston, as we had never been to the falls before. Upon walking into the room I was immediately satisfied. We had booked a Fallsview room with a Jacuzzi and sleep number bed that did not disappoint. The Radisson is not one of the tallest hotels in the area but they put us as close to the top on the 14th floor (I think it was 15/16 floors tall)as they could. The view was only of the Ontario falls but it was AMAZING and could be seen from lying in our very comforable King size Sleep Number bed. I was a fan of the size of the room and its inclusion of a mini fridge, microwave, and free wireless internet. The service was great. Everyone there seemed happy to help and the valet was free (aside from tip). They have a pool, fitness center, some restaurants, and a store but since we were only there for one night and had a jacuzzi in our room, we really didn't utilize any of these. Also a plus, they extended our checkout from 11-12.

Be VERY WARY about the restaurants here. In most cases they are very over-priced for bad quality food. Also don't expect any speedy service from anything around this area, generally things will move very slow. I can honestly say I didn't have one outstanding dining experience while in Niagara falls. I stayed away from the TGI Friday's, Outback Steakhouse, and other national chains, because I wanted to try something different. However after my experiences, I would say your best bet is to eat at those familiar places, because everything else kind of sucked.

--Claudia, Bensalem Sep 2, 2008
There are a few of the non-name family owned diners nearby...a block or two, that serve all three meals in the day...food is good and very reasonable. If you go to the normal names you are accuctomed to in the USA, the price will be much much higher for your meals. Best to use the nearby mom and pop and the food is good as well.
