Maybe next time....

While staying at your hotel we experienced great customer service, enjoyed some time out in the pool, and got to go visit ... Cancun's hotel zone and went to Isla Mujers. Had a great time just wish the comfort of the bed in our room was better. It was to hard and not comfortable, to the point that my sister had a sore back for about 3 days after our departure.

Good, clean and nice
Susie Jun 8, 2009
This was a nice hotel and the end of a main road in old Cancun. We had no trouble parking our rental car and, if we didn't ... bring kids, it would have been a reasonable walk to the center of town (but was a bit too far and hot at the end of May for our 3 year old to walk). The facility was clean and nice and spacious--a delight. The continental breakfast was very good, but they told me it wasn't included (despite what Cheap Tickets advertised). I'd highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in old Cancun. It even has a kids playground in the back! (But we got hit up by the concierge for timeshare sales, FYI).

good location (near Cancun central bus station), service not bad, my only major complaint is it can be noisy in hallways ... (people slam their doors, which need to be pulled tight to lock but you can do this without slamming),[...]

Authentic Mexican flavor in Cancun
Kay Mar 3, 2009
It would have been nice to have had more time to spend in this lovely hotel. We stayed only over night between a bus trip ... from Merida and a bus to the airport. We wanted to find a church in the area and the staff was very accomodating. The pool area was relaxing and inviting. The grounds, building, and room were clean and well cared for.

good location if you need to stay downtown

The hotel is nothing special, affordable, convenient location if you need to be in downtown Cancun. Place is older and a ... little beat up. Staff is nice but does not offer too much.

Not what I expected
Lindsay Mar 19, 2008
The Radisson Cancun was not what I expected. The location was an inconvienence. For the price I paid, I expected a little ... more. The rooms had mold in the bathrooms and the beds were as hard as a rock. We tried to switch rooms, but they were all the same. The pool, tennis court and grounds keeping was very nice, but I would have rather had a comfortable bed.

Quiet and restful

The Cancun Radisson Hacienda is located next to downtown Cancun within an easy walk of public transportation, restaurants, ... night life, shopping. We swam at different beaches every day or used the hotel pool. the Hotel has a shuttle service to the public beach on the strip. The room was clean and the service excellent.

Everything was just a short walk from the hotel: entertainment, shopping, night life, transportation, a church, dining...a great variety of everything. We were not bored or disappointed.

Disappointed
Chelsey Feb 29, 2008
The Radisson Hacienda wasn't terrible but it was not quite what I expected. We had trouble communicating with hotel staff ... while ordering room service and the price of phone calls that cost us quite a chunk of change more than intended. It was very noisy so we slept with the air conditioner on just to block some of it out. The walls were thin, too. We could hear our neighbor having too much fun one night and then being sick for hours the next night. Speaking of sick, my husband and I both got sick after eating in the restaurant. The bed felt gross as did the floor. I slept fully clothed and did not want to take my shoes off. The poolbar was never staffed while we were there and the building casts a shadow on the pool for most of the day. On the flip side, the staff itself was very friendly. My husband walked to the bus station without me to check it out and said he did not feel comfortable so we ended up cabbing it the whole time.

Great Hotel
Timothy Sep 21, 2007
The Radisson Hacienda is perfect for the traveler who wants to be in the center of Cancun city-life. If you are looking for ... interaction with locals away from the American touristy spots, this place is for you. The hotel is beautifully designed in classy traditional Mexican style. You feel like you are in a very wealthy hacienda. The rooms are very clean, with marble tiled bathrooms and lovely balconies. The pool, bar, restaurant and several up-scale amenities are at your beckon call. The tile work in this hotel is gorgeous with amazing use of lighted onyx. The only drawback is that if you want to host a guest in your room for a limited visit you may run into some barriers. The location is super being very close to great restaurants, night clubs and shopping. Taxis and bus service are just a step outside the door. I'll be back at this hotel.
