Do not stay here
Ben Oct 19, 2009
The experience was horrible. The room was fairly small, but not overly so for a couple. The windows were small and frosted, ... letting in little to no light. The toilet backed up and flooded twice the first day we were there and we hadn't used it yet. One of the lamps was missing a light bulb. The air conditioner was very weak. On our last night, there was an overpowering sewage smell that drifted in and out of the room. The bed was uncomfortable, with some odd cushion on it that was too small for the matress underneath and the sheets were too small for the bed. The Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. We were told there would be juice and cereals, but there was only coffee and muffins. The staff was friendly and the location was convient to both the French Quarter and the Superdome, but we will not be staying there again.

Great stay for the money
J & J Oct 15, 2009
The room was clean and the bed was super. Housekeeping was a bit lax on sweeping but great on the bathrooms. We did not have ... a remote for the TV but the desk was very quick to get one to our room. Close to the French Quarters and felt safe at night when walking around. Very quiet and peaceful room.

Take comfortable shoes and watch out for uneven sidewalks. Bus and streetcar lines are very handy for transportation.

Queen & Crescent Front Desk Staff Awful
David Biz Travel Oct 9, 2009
Check in staff was rude. We were told that we would need to come back later to get king rooms. When we got they couldn't ... find our reservation and then put us in two tiny rooms with queens. the A/C didn't work. There was a hidden mandatory fee for wireless connections. Last time I'll ever use this hotel [...]
