A Nice Surprise
loves the beaches Nov 13, 2009
I used to live in the area; I am well aware that bugs are endemic, but during my entire stay I didn't see one! The rooms ... were cleaned daily, the location relatively close to where I wanted to go (mainly beaches and day trips to St. Pete/Tampa museums), and the in-room microwave and mid-sized fridge were a huge plus (saved a bunch on food)! I would definitely stay here again.

A little bit of a drive off of I-75, but nice location. Not the cleanest room, but definitely not a mess. Very friendly ... staff! No wall safe in the room, but being in the room, I felt secure. An ideal place for the pragmatic traveler!

Nice people, location & price
Susie-Q Sep 16, 2009
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast. I had fun making waffles in the dining ... room. The rooms were clean and the amenities were acceptable. I really appreciated the pet friendliness of the hotel. I would not have been able to travel without my pet. P.S. She liked the hotel very much.

Great location for Ringling Museum
jancat Aug 31, 2009
We were only there to watch a few movies and sleep. We went to the museum the next morning which was almost within walking ... distance. Unfortunately, we had to drive for miles to find a restaurant for breakfast. The first room we had had a bad T.V. so we switched rooms. The second room had a loose toilet that was hard to flush. But the staff was very nice.

We came down just to spend the night for a friends wedding so we didn't have to use the rooms much but everything was clean ... and neat and the staff we met were friendly. It was better than I expected for an inexpensve hotel.

You get what you pay for
Betsy May 4, 2009
We were disappointed with this motel. The whole place had a rundown look. the room had obviously been "re-done" several ... times - sloppy caulking, light fixtures not installed carefully, old-looking rugs and curtains. It was nice to have a pool, but it was not a great atmosphere - again, that shabby look. the location was great for us, but I would not recommend this motel.

A Practical Place
Eugene Nov 26, 2008
Quality Inn Airport Sarasota is a very practical place in which to stay. The room was large and comfortable, the pool nice ... and not near the highway, and the breakfast really good. This inn is within walking distance of many of Sarasota's greatest attractions and an easy and quick drive to the vibrant downtown and the famous beaches. Unless one most have very expensive, luxury accomodations, this is a good place to stay.

The John and Mabel Ringling home and museums are are just a few miles away and well worth the time to visit. The Ringling home was built and furnished in Venetian style and is very opulent and beautiful. The Ringling Art collection is excellent and quite extensive and of course everyone should visit the Circus museum.
