Although I complained about the fridge that was broken to [...] at the front desk, nothing was done about it! The microwave ... oven looked like it was made in the '60's.Very noisy location. Situated at the busiest,main road(264), the noise caused by the cars is absolutely insurmountable.Got there to check in around 2:45 p.m , there was one girl at the front desk ([...]) handling everything. She was so busy handling the phones (that didn't stop ringing)and trying to be as courteous as possible with the the guests. I admired her because I know it's tough to deal with the public.The staff in general was courteous, but the hotel itself, as far as physical appearance and location..... nuh!I wouldn't stay there again! I guess "you get what you pay for" is very accurate!

It was clean/the mexican restaurant next to the hotel was very affordabel. Give you 15% off your meal for staying at the ... hotel. It was delicious! Overall I can't complain about the hotel. For the price you couldn't beat it. It'd stay there again.

Awful Service and Disgusting Bathroom

At 11am I was told that my room wasn't guaranteed to be ready until 3pm. I spent the day at the beach and came back to ... check-in at around 7pm. The beds had been made and room appeared clean, but the bathroom was left in a disgusting condition. There was a pile of dirty, wet towels right next to the shower. There was spilled shampoo on the sink countertop. There was used, hairy soap on sink countertop. The toilet was dirty with urine on the seat. There were no clean towels and there was no new soap or shampoo. (I have photographs documenting my description.)Because the buttons on the phone did not work, I called the front desk from my cell phone and a manager came to the room and said someone from the cleaning staff would come to clean the bathroom. Nobody came within 10 minutes, so I went to the front desk to ask the manager again to send someone. Eventually a gentleman came and he spent less than 5 minutes in the room. He left with some of towels. I went back into the bathroom to find there were still two used towels on the side of the bathtub and he did nothing to clean the countertop or toilet. In fact, he even left a spray bottle of cleaning solution next to the sink which wasn't there in first place.I went back to the front desk to describe the situation. While I began talking, the manager refused to let me explain anything and interrupted me every time I tried to speak. He said that if I let him speak that he would answer all of my questions. After I allowed him to speak, I was still not given a moment to respond. I cannot imagine anyone in the service industry being more disrespectful to a customer. The only thing the manager offered was to send the member of the cleaning staff back to the room. I said that there must be something, partial refund or otherwise, that must be given because of the situation. He said that he wasn't responsible for the situation. He said because we booked the room through CheapTickets that that company is responsible, although he agreed that he was CheapTickets is not responsible for cleaning bathrooms.The manager threatened to call the police because I would not leave the lobby, but the situation was not resolved and the bathroom was disgusting. About one or two minutes later he did call the police. He told me he would have me arrested for trespassing. When I said that I have done nothing do warrant such a response, let alone anything illegal, he said he would have the police escort me off the property without any type of refund. While he was on hold with the police, he hung up the phone. I believe he realized that I was correct and that his threat of legal action did not fit the situation whatsoever.My complaint is that I was guaranteed a check-in time of 3pm, but I came to the room at 7pm and it was filthy. Then the cleaning staff arrived but failed to do anything in the bathroom other than remove some of the dirty towels. Then when I came to the front desk I was treated as rudely as I ever have been in my life, let alone while I was a paying customer. I had the police called because I did not leave the lobby when my situation had not been resolved.In the end, I spoke with someone at CheapTickets.com who said the only thing they could do was offer $50. I said that this must be a refund and not a voucher for future use. This was agreed to, but I believe the email response that I received only says I received a voucher. The whole situation was unacceptable. [...]

Very nice hotel, clean and rooms are big. Good location and access to stores and beach in minutes. I will recommend this ... hotel. My family and i enjoyed our stay. The restaurant down there -Mexican- is really good and fast service is provided. RECOMMENDED!
