The ABSOLUTE WORST hotel
UNHAPPY CONSUMER Aug 21, 2009
I've used orbitz.com to book past vacations so when I decided to book a hotel chain that I had used before through them I ... NEVER thought I'd end up staying in a dump. This place was absolutely horrific. The only reason we stayed was because there were no other hotels that had any vacancies due to the air show that tourists were attending. Had we known that there was something going on that week, we would not have booked the same week. The pictures are false advertisement, they had construction going on everyday we were there, our keys didn't work after our second night, the continental breakfast was really cereal & juice. Our room was small, smelly and dirty. I went out and purchased cleaning products, linen and glade plug ins because the conditions were that bad. As we were leaving we noticed on the door that the room was $29.99 a night, yet we paid $80 a night. It clearly was only worth $29.99 a night and if that's all we would have paid, I would not have expected much more than what we received. We are hard working class people with realistic expectations. We know that hotels in Atlantic City can be expensive, especially on the weekend. Which is why we chose to travel there mid week (Tues-Thurs). I wouldn't want a homeless person to endure the arrangements we had to endure for three nights. Next time, we'll just go with one of the more expensive hotel chains. That way, at least we know we'll get what we pay for. And not have to stay at an overpriced roach motel.

One night in Atlantic City, NJ
TIme to Gamble! Aug 21, 2009
My friend and I checked into the room around 2000hrs. Once we entered the room there was a distinct smell of urine and the ... carpet was wet and soggy to the touch. You could tell that no one had stayed in the room (RM 225) for a good bit of time as the air was very stagnant and harsh on the nostrils. Once we got over the smell (thankfully that is one of the senses that adapts quickly) the room was generally clean and the sheets not stained or otherwise dirty. The TV only received 5 channels and all of the channels had a fuzzy falling line moving throughout the picture. As close as we were to the airport I did not hear a single plane fly. We did walk to the board walk which was about 10-12 minutes but then to get to a casino (Trump) was another 30+ minute walk. One night with a buddy was ok, one night with my family would not of been. I would not be surprised if there is mold in that particular room. But hey when you just want to gamble, get 4-5 hours rest, and leave its bearable.

For a weekend in Atlantic City on a budget, the Quality Inn was just right. ALthough it was a little far from major ... attractions like the boardwalk and casinos, a lot can be reached by walking or a quick cab ride. Note to visitors, pack light! The Quality Inn is a walkup and has no elevators, which can be very troublesome for those with lots of luggage. Also the hallways have no air conditioning, but the rooms do. The room size was comfortable and tidy. I would definitely recommend it for those on a budget.

Stay here only if it is all you can afford in AC. The pool man refused to turn down his boom box music, the curtains in my ... sleeping room were wet and moldy, and the "deluxe hot" continental breakfast was hardly deluxe.

Quailty Inn was comfortable, the room was a nice size. The room had a microwave, iron board and iron. The iron didn't work.It ... also had a refrigerator that wasn't real cold. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was a separate room. we had to request clean wash cloths. The location was a little far from the boardwalk then I would have like. I love the waffles in the morning.

Quality Inn Casino City, ATLANTIC CITY, NJ The hotel staff is very friendly and polite. The rooms are very clean. The rates ... were great compared to the other hotels. The only thing is that the hotels are not really close to the hotel for walking distance. But, it was not a bother since we had a car. I would recomend The Quality Inn Casino City to all.

The shopping outlets are a short distance away. You would have to use your car. It's not in walking distance. The shopping outlets are great if you do not want to gamble all day.
