Rest assured that if you are looking to get away to a beautiful, restful resort by the ocean without children or smoking, ... this is the place. Rooms are spotless, the bed very comfortable, cleaned and turned down twice a day. The lack of jungle-like landscaping at other resorts made Pacifica cooler and less humid. Staff is friendly but not overly. Food was delicious and priced as any high end resort. We felt we received a value for our money spent, and plan to return.

I wish there was some kind of evening entertainment at the hotel like music or happy hour! There was nothing and we had to ... leave for other hotels and the shuttle was only running once every hour . We had to take it to Quirva their next door and wait an hour to take the shuttle to sister hotel! We just took taxi which was $25 rt.

The place was so quiet, all ours. We have tons of photos with just us in them! Half the hotel was not being utlized because ... it was the low season. We had a special Anniversary message in our room and staff everywhere were so friendly, you can tell they enjoy working in this peaceful environment. The best part were the two pools, eating lunch at the swim up bar, hanging out in the beach beds, watching a turtle laying its eggs (WOW-we were the only two who saw it, still nobody was around!!!!), and having drinks at the awesome bar next to the main resturant.

We took a taxi into town, ($12), & then rode the shuttle another day - I would definitely stick with the taxi. We visited both the Rose & the Sunset, & the Pacifica was clearly the best- Although we did enjoy dinner @ the Italian restaurant @ the Rose- The beach was beautiful, with incredible waves & great sand- didn't miss not swimming (in fact the swimming @ Medano beach in town was pretty pitiful-)

My daughter & I were there for a week & came back refreshed & relaxed. The hotel & grounds are so "Zen" & blend into the ... environment perfectly-the staff was extremely attentive & personable- Everyone knew us by name by the 3rd day- We enjoyed the location, (away from all of the other resorts...), & the peace & quiet- There were mostly couples & a few friends- if you want to party this is not the place, (or you could go 'out on the town') The food was a bit pricey, but excellent- We did eat @ the pool every day, & YES- the tempura fish tacos were fabulous- No problems drinking the house water.

This was our 2nd trip to the Pacifica because we enjoyed it so much last year. The relaxing atmosphere, the view, and the ... poolside service are simply wonderful. The staff were well-trained and helpful. The Pacifica is far from the spring break crowds in town. It's a beautiful romantic getaway for people who want peace, quiet, and privacy. I really appreciated the hotel's smoke-free policy, and as much as I like them, the absence of kids really does lend to the tranquility, particularly by the pool! Try the shrimp tacos and mojitos at the poolside bar....amazing! The only things that you should know are that the hotel is located a 10 minute $12 cab ride from anything in town, and they will try to talk you into a timeshare presentation (but will back off if you tell them firmly that you aren't interested). Oh, and eating on site can get quite expensive.

I stayed at this hotel July 12-July 19, 2009. I have stayed at this hotel before, but I would never stay there again after ... my last experience. The housekeepers went through my clothing that was hanging in the closet and took several items. I let the manager know, and they told me they would investigate, but they did nothing. In addition, they stole money from our safe. Their safe can easily be reset at anytime by their staff. Horrible experience, would NEVER stay again. Housekeepers go through your items and take anythig they want. BEWARE!

The location perfect, restful and quiet but I prefer to know before the conditions of beach, I appreciate the aware of the ... people about the sea, but tell us know before getting the vacations package, just to make plans. And I think the prices for the SPA services are too expensive, more than a good spa in US.

The lobby had a wonderful aromatherapy quality. The rooms were simple but well appointed. The entire complex was great. The ... restaurant meals were tasty, but room service was not as great. The beach was lovely to look at but no getting in the water on the Pacific side. The hotel was adults only which was a great break for me since I work with children on a daily basis. I would definetly return. The only downside was the hard sell at the airport and in the hotel lobby upon arrival, but the $300.00 certificate for spa services made the timeshare spiel worth it.

The Most Relaxing Resort in the World.
Henry Jun 13, 2009
Hands down...this is the most relaxing and tranquil resort I have ever stayed at. The staff is top notch and are there for ... your every need with a smile. It was nice to be able to order alcoholic beverages at a pool minus all the alcoholics! You are far from all the "spring break like" action but thanks to Pueblo Bonito's free shuttle service between their sister hotels you can get into town with ease and return when you are ready for some peace. For those looking for some special treatment the spa is comparable to some of the best I have seen. I cannot recommend this resort enough to couples who are looking for a relaxing break.

If you visit Cabo you do not want to miss a dinner at the highly recommended restaurant Edith's near Medano Beach. It has very traditional decor' with a Freida Kahlo feel. The seafood and service is not just good but premium. For Pueblo Bonito guests who want a good bargain breakfast/brunch try visiting the Rose' hotel and try the buffet near the pool...great view of the beach and great food.

Had a great stay! Amazing price for last minute booking. The rooms were clean and well maintained as are the grounds. The ... staff make an effort to remember your name and room number. Prices for food are very reasonable for a resort. There were only 3 things that we didn't like. 1. They don't allow ouside food or drink. They will take it away from you if they see it. 2. They charge to use the Fitness Center. 3. The televisions make an annoying whining sound. I asked to have the TV swiched out but they said it was the connection not the set, nothing they could do about it. Would stay there again, would recommend if you're looking for a quiet vacation.

Get away from it all
Pete Sep 23, 2008
This was our second visit to Cabo, and we stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. It was simply excellent! It is very much ... the opposite of the Cabo stereotype of party/spring break/tequila. This resort is upscale, tranquil, and the service was great. While this resort doesn't shout out luxury, it envelopes you from the moment of entry with peace and tranquility. Highly recommend it for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Less than a two-hour flight from San Diego, and still close action to the nightlife in Cabo. Rating: 4 1/2 to 5 stars!

Relaxation at its Best!
Julie May 1, 2008
Pueblo Bonita Holistic Spa Resort was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. The lavendar aroma that hits you at ... the door and tranquilty pool in the lobby, were immediate signs that that this hotel was designed for the purpose of relaxing and pampering. The grounds were emaculate. The room was average size, but very nice. Very comfortable king size bed. The staff, all over the resort were helpful, friendly and service-oriented. The food was excellent at both, the poolside restaurant and the main restaurant (although a little more pricey than I expected). I didn't think my husband would like it because of the spa focus, but he loved the swimming pools, awesome beach and jacuzzi. He enjoyed our stay as much as I did. The resort is somewhat remote, not really close to anything. Hotel provides a shuttle, but not sure how far it goes. We did not need transportation. So wasn't an issue for us. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to decompress. It is quiet and soothing. Can't wait to go back! We loved it!

Upscale and Relaxing
Carol Michelle Mar 3, 2008
The Pacifica was a great value - great location, pretty beach, great pools, good food options, wonderful spa. Upscale crowd - ... no spring breakers. The rooms were not all that amazing, but the fantastic frounds more than made up for it (some of the best landscaping and public areas I've seen). The drinks and spa were expensive - my guess is that they do that to make up for all of the vouchers they give away to guests willing to tour their timeshare units up the hill (we spent 90 minutes touring and got $200 food /drink credit and $50 spa credit each - we thought it was worth it). We will go back and hopefully they will upgrade the rooms to be a bit more luxe at some point.

The Pacifica was a treat from the moment we walked in. It was beautiful, relaxing and the staff was very friendly and ... accomodating. All rooms have views of the ocean and we were able to see the migrating whales from the beach and our balcony. The hotel is on a stretch of beach that is on the Pacific side so it is isolated from other hotels, which makes it so relaxing. You can take a shuttle to sister properties, one of which is walking distance to town. Room size is adequate, decor is soothing, scent of lavender permeates hotel. We did not want to leave and hope to return next year.
