Would recommend to a friend!

I stayed here because I had friends staying at a place about 5 hotels down on the same stretch of beach. Theirs was a condo, ... very upscale, very pricey. I like the Posada Real much better. Quieter, more Mexican tourists than American, nice quiet palapas and beach area with waiter service. Great place for $80 with drinks included. The only downside was that the swim up bar sometimes played the music a bit loud, and they played an annoying 80's mix (Boy George, Cyndi Lauper) about once a day, but they were accommodated requests both of music type and volume level.

We just needed a room for one night. The reception clerk was very unfriendly. She could have instructed us on how to open ... the door with the key card (keep the card in the slot and turn the handle). But no, we had to make a return trip to the desk for clarification. At 2:34 AM we awoke to the sound of the ceiling air conditioner defrosting all over my suitcase that was located on the floor beneath. I had my iPod, camera, medicine, clothes and jewelry case, along with misc. papers for the trip. Everything got soaked. When we checked out, I asked for compensation for the damage, but the manager said we had to contact [...]. So here I am, contacting. Now what?

This was the worst travel experience that we have ever had! The unfriendly staff & poor customer service of this hotel was ... beyond anything we could have imagined. We arrived at the hotel to be told by the front desk staff that we had canceled our reservation. The staff was very unwilling to help us, unfriendly and seemed to care less that it was their mistake! They didn't even apologize once they figured out their mistake. We had other guests approach us to tell us they were checking out early due to the poor service and quality of the hotel. We ended up staying somewhere else & cut our vacation short because of the horrible experience at Best Western Posada Real.

This hotel was a great deal for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for the cost per night. The ... beverages were included as well as the alcohol for one low price. The food was average at the restaurant and I recommend traveling a short distance to where you will find better food.

I went on this 'mini' vacation to get away from Los Angeles. I didn't want to party at Cabos or be annoyed by anyone trying ... to hit on me. I just wanted to relax. For the price I paid, it was a good deal. I relax and relax at the pool and at the beach. Had a message done for 45 minutes. It was nothing but relaxation. All my needs were met at the hotel. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of drinks while relaxing. There was no need to go outside the hotel. The staff was great! Very helpful and polite. This hotel is not for a person wanting to party and party!!! The majority of the population on this hotel is either Mexican or Mexican American. The hotel is oriented for families with children. Now, if you go single and just want to plain and relax, then this is the hotel. It is very calm and quite. The food is like homemade. The drinks were good. The rooms were big. The computer/internet was useful along with the mini gym. This hotel spot is just plain and relaxing! This is also good for a couple who just wants to relax and relax at the beach and at the pool! I would go again by myself to get away from Los Angeles and away from the stress!!
