Pretty on the outside, but. . .

This hotel is beautiful on the outside. One of its greatest assets is the pool area. It overlooks the river that borders ... Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. The building and the interior design is modern and beautiful. The very bad thing about this hotel is there non smoking rooms smell like smoke. The smoking floor is the 3rd floor and all the fumes rise up to all the levels above. I stayed on the 4th floor the first night and my room smelled very bad. So bad that I could NOT breathe. I asked to move and they put me on the first floor. Which was much much better. The attendent said that air conditioning system was very bad and it just circulates the air from each floor. Very very bad. Other complaints: * Mini-bar is not well-stocked. And all products are over over priced. * No free Wi-fi * Food is mediocre but over priced The staff was very friendly and willing to help considering all the issues in this hotel.
