Hotel Ophir is in a great location but that's where the 'pros' end. My biggest complaint is the lack of air conditioning. The ... hotel is equipped with central air, but it doesn't matter because it either doesn't work or the owner(s) don't use it. Because of this, the small, stale rooms are unbearably hot. Additionally, the remote control for the TV didn't work. The TV was small and old. The bed smelled but did appear generally clean. The staff wasn't especially friendly or helpful but they weren't jerks either. Also, this great location is noisy 24/7. I didn't mind, but people might. Overall, it wasn't worth the money. It's nothing more than a place to sleep and leave your bags.
