The good and the not so good

We totally enjoyed Tybee island as we have before. We were okay but dissappointed with the service especially with it being ... the last big beach week of the season. There was no pool bar open. Tv was intermintent. As a whole the trip was good but not due to a great place to stay

staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were a nice size and being on the beach was nice, but the hotel is in dire need of an ... overhaul.

The staff was very nice, but for the money i paid it was awful. The bathrooms were so old and dirty I would not take a ... shower. The hotel is in serious need of renovation, and they say its on the beach, but there is a parking lot in between

On the beach

An older hotel, but right on the beach. Several restaurants were within walking distance. The rooms were just o.k., normal ... hotel rooms, but all we used them for was to sleep , shower & change. The beach right in front was nice, we were there all day, every day. It was a close walk to the pier. Tybee was a good experience for our family & we will be going back.

Sting Ray's was across the street, inexpensive, decent menu, typical bar food with seafood thrown in. We ate there both days, the staff was very helpful & directed us to a nice restauant for dinner called AJ's.
