Details: xMt. St. Helens Tour

We'll head out of busy Seattle in the early morning and make our way south to Mt. St. Helens. The mountain is located approximately 90 miles from Seattle, but the drive to the highest visitor center takes over three hours. We'll stop along the way to learn more about the mountain as well as take a photo or two. The eruption of Mt. St. Helens triggered the largest land slide in recorded history, covering parts of the North Fork of the Toutle River in up to 600 feet of debris! As the 25th anniversary of this event, this is a special year to be visiting the Mt. St. Helens National Monument. The day the mountain blew is forever etched in the memory of most Washingtonians - and you'll know why after experiencing this tour.
