Price is Right

Our idea of a vacation is to spend as little time as possible in the hotel so we can get out and see the world around us. ... That said, we'd rather not pay high prices for luxury accomodations. Our primary concern is location and cleanliness, and the Motel 6 in Page certainly fit the bill. The rooms were comfortable, and although it was not in the main part of the city, it was convenient to many restaurants and offered easy access to the roads leading to the Grand Canyon & Monument Valley.

Lake Powell for swimming, boating, fishing, 1 hr. to a 3 hr. or all day boat tours of different parts of lake and also going on a showboat and have dinner at sunset. Has good shopping and all necesseties you have or need or just want to shop near this hotel and a short drive up on the mesa to more shopping and dining. The best fast food place there is RD's Drive in they have the best food and old fashion type milkshakes. A must eat if you want a quick bite.

I was disappointed in the friendliness and service of the front desk staff. The hotel promoted that it had HBO, but when i ... couldn't find it in the stations and asked the front staff to help, they dismissed it and said they didn't know. No attempt was made to find out the information. HBO wasn't a big deal, but the staff new it was an issue, but couldn't/wouldn't help to find the answer.

I actually got this room for my son and his wife and daughter and puppy for 2 reasons: 1)Family Reunion in our home town and ... my dad turned 81 this month. 2) It is my son and daughter-in-law 1 yr. wedding anniversary and we wanted to give them a gift because they don't have much money, we paid for their trip to the family reunion and giving them an anniversary gift. We were really satisfied with service and we were very satisfied with Orbitz and will use again for we go to Page to see family all the time.

It was a quick stop, check-in go to sleep, wake up and hit the road. But for Motel 6 I was surprised at how comfortable it ... was. It also appears to be fairly new which may account for some of this, but the point is, it is the perfect stop if you are just passing through and need to crash for the night.

Can't complain too much because it was cheap. The HBO wasnt' working and the shower switch was broken in the room. Location ... is good, right off main roadway and close to town, although in a small town you're always close no matter where you stay! I went to Safeway which was a little further drive, then found out a Walmart was closer- must be newer because it didn't register on my GPS. Friendly staff and residents in town. Beautiful town, would love to go again.

We often experience loud guests in the hall, whereever we stay. At this hotel we could hear everyone who took a shower or ... flushed the toilet, as if they were in our room. The revelers in the pool were heard clearly. We were two rooms away from the ice-maker alcove and we could hear the ice as it was made. The air conditioner started up loudly and turned off loudly and made the room smell like someone had urinated everywhere. Soap was the only amenity in the room. The grounds are ugly - not enough rock covering the dirt, few plants, railings in need of repair, you would never know this place is only two years old.

Receptionist was not knowledgeable about hotel policies and advised me to check with morning shift receptionist for further ... information, she would not look up information for me (she was not busy, I was the only customer there). My wife also asked some questions the following morning (whether the person was the same or no I do not know) and she received very short answers in an impatient manner. we did not stay another day.

Two nights stay, rooms clean, good value for the money. Golf course on the opposite side of the road. Hotel recently built. ... Friendly staff offering coffee ,tea and community microwave for guests. No continental breakfast. Elevator for higher floors. There is a desktop in the lobby that you can use.

We just needed a place to sleep so we could travel further. we were right next to the exit, you could hear the door slamming ... all night long. and every time someone on our floor used the toilet or shower, you could hear the water running. it was hard to get a good nights sleep. the room was very small, but clean.
