Good value, worked for us
Rick Oct 9, 2009
Boston hotels with loads of amenities seemed very expensive. We planned to explore and did not need to pay for services that ... we would not use. The Milner was perfect in that respect. Reasonably priced, yet an easy walk to the restaurants, pubs, historic sites, etc. A good trip.

Good enough
Frustrated Aug 10, 2009
I was expecting to have 2 queen beds and there was only 1 and a pull out couch (not comfortable), the woman at the front desk ... was rude and consending, not helpful with directions or checking in or out. I will probably nott got back to that hotel or book on Orbitz again because I din't get what I was expecting and had to sleep on the floor! I was not happy! :(

Very pleasantly surprised

We stayed at the Milner overnight and went to see Dirty Dancing at the Opera House. Staff was very pleasant. Room was bigger ... than I thought with a sitting room area and bedroom. Bathroom was a little small but the hotel is 130 years old. Bed was very comfortable. Area was a little noisy but we were in the heart of the theater district so it was expected. Great continental breakfast in the morning with great coffee. Parking garage was across the street and hotel gives a little discount for that garage. Definitely would go back. Thanks.

Traveler on a long weekend trying to shop, eat out, visit museums, and see shows was sorely disappointed This was far from ... worth the price and was borderline gritty trying to pass itself off as economical Other trips with orbitz have been better

Good location, bad service...
Jose Sep 3, 2008
The Milner Hotel Boston has a great location within the city, but service is bad. I stayed 5 nights and 1 day they did not ... make my room without letting me know suggesting that since I was staying 5 nights it was not neccesary to make it every day. The last 2 days the elevator was not working and the people in the reception where dumb.
