Never Again!

Many things are memorable about this hotel. It's hard to pick out my favorite. The bathroom had mold in the corners, the ... hotel ran out of shampoo after two days (I had booked 8 days), the rooms were noisy, the clothes became damp because the AC didn't remove the excess moisture in the room, the TV was a 21" color tube (I'm surprised it wasn't black and white). The drawers for the clothes were broken, and the overall condition for the hotel was below par. Way below par! Good things: It had a good reading light over the bed, and it was next to Cracker Barrel. That's about it.

Noisy Inn

Have stayed there several times and never remember the noisy doors slamming from early morning until late at night. Heard ... voices from the hallway constantly. Every step from room above me could be heard. Late night check-ins (1AM) in that room woke me up. PC Parental Guidance software many times prevented accessing acceptable web-sites. Staff says password is unknown so restrictions cannot be lowered.

The Microtel @ Palm Coast was very comfortable. The room was large enough for 4 adults just passing through and needing a ... place to spend the night. Beds were very comfortable and staff was kind. Breakfast was adequate enough to get us started the next day.

Very quiet location, with helpfull staff. They accomidated my request for a smoking room and very late check in(3:00 am) ... could have used an in room coffee maker and possibly shampoo etc. in bath. Buth both were available in the lobby.

Great place to stay. It would have been better if they would allow early check in for guest arriving out of area.I was glad ... we stay there. Rms were very clean and the location is within walking distance to places to eat.The pool is not so hot.Very small.Close to beach, Daytona and St Augustine.Will stay there again.
