Great Hotel , right on the beach, lots of pubs and eaterys close by. Shopping was great, Silver jewelry reduced to great ... prices. Excellent pool and staff were very friendly. The room was spotless, large with balcony, included frig, microwave dishes, awesome price. One downfall, check in is not til 4Pm which is a pain when you arrive by air at 10am Recommend to all, Fabulous!

Excellent time. Beautiful property very close to a lot of great bars/restaurants. Little hard to navigate up to lobby as you ... have to drive up through the parking garage to the 4th floor. Staff was super great view of downtown Ft Lauderdale. Would most certainly stay again.

Overall it below--average at best!...and this is not including the nasty low class travelers that frequent this area! I ... wasn't thrilled about the beach chair situation. They charged $3/day for an old tiny rusty beach chair. The other option was $40/day for a lounge chair that was provided by the city! I am a bit disappointed in Marriott for advertising this establishment as a Hotel...It is a timeshare unit, the rooms are not supplied with either shampoo nor conditioner, and they expect you to take your trash out to the compactor each day!! Not my idea of a vacation, especially when you can choose from a wide range of hotels in the same price range, that would be much more accommodating! Don't get me wrong, there are not many "nice" hotels to stay at in this location...Other than the "Ritz-Carlton" which is right next door, and the Weston, which is about a block north.. we actually would have transferred down to the Weston, but we weren't staying more than two nights and they wanted to charge me for the night! So, all in all if you like to bring comfort with you, then this place is for you! I wouldn't recommend this Hotel!

I was a bit nervous about staying at a hotel that I have never stayed before. from service to room, this hotel was fantastic! ... The villa was absolutely perfect! And the view was to die for. Not to mention, that the hotel is located right on the strip in ft. Lauderdal and is right across the street from the beach. They offer multiple activities for children as well as adults and the staff could not be more helpful. i will definantly being staying there in the future.

The Jungle Queen is a boat that takes you through the intercoastal and you can see all the mansions. It takes you to a private island where you eat all you can eat chicken ribs and shrimp. then they have a show and upon completion boat you back. It was a very fun event and my nine year old really enjoyed it!
