My husband and I went on a dolphin sighting cruise and it was a wonderful experience. There are a few around the Myrtle Beach area and you definately should take one if you get the chance.

Eat at Bimini's. Its great local seafood. Sticky Fingers is an excellent BBQ chain. If you want to drive a lil ways, Flo's Place is great New Orleans cajun. Get the Gator Nuggets.

Great Place to Stay!
Rob Sep 14, 2009
The Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is an awesome hotel. The location is easy to find and is kinda central to everything you will ... want to do. One down side was that the outdoor pool area was small. It makes up for it by having an indoor pool and 24hr access. Its also not beach front but does have its own private beach area and a shuttle that goes back and forth. The rooms are great. The service excellent. [...] in valet was AWESOME! He was always nice and helpful and recommended a great restaurant for us. Definitely stay at the Marina Inn.

Myrtle Beach Trip.....
Yoly Sep 8, 2009
At first we were hesistant to stay at a facility that was not located on the beach. However, this was the best 4 day getaway ... ever! The Marina Inn was impecable, serene, and away from the hustle and bustle of the beach crowds. The hotel staff were very personable, and even address you by your last name at all times. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my family and friends visiting Myrtle beach. And I personally will be returning in the future! We spend a memorable vacation getaway at the Marina Inn. Thank You!

Our Trip: A Good Time and A Great Story
Adventurists Sep 3, 2009
We went to the Beach, Board Walk, and stayed around the Pool or in our room relaxing. I think the only thing that would make ... our stay better was to have a shuttle to take us to and from the hotel. That is was a wonderful trip that we would do again in a heart beat!!!

Awesome Resort!!
Marina Inn at Grand Dunes Aug 31, 2009
We stayed at Marina Inn for our Honeymoon and it did not let us down. Their Waterscapes restaraunt was awesome, with a very ... nice view of their beautiful pool. Our hotel room had a view of the intercoastal waterway as well as their top notch golf course. The shuttle to and from their private beach was amazing. The location is central to everything we wanted to do. They were only 5 minutes to anywhere, Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, Beach, Baseball, shopping, or whatever.

Grap their free "tourist pamphlet". We found great deals on the Medeivel Times dinner shows, souvenirs, movies, and food. Also allow the concierge to book any shows or golf. They have the best deals and many times it's better to book your tee time late rather than early. If there are tee times available they will give you a better deal rather than leaving the tee time empty.

Five Star Plus at Affordable Rates
Stephnpol Aug 27, 2009
My thoughts of five-star accommodations usually conjur up images of a hotel with an arrogant, untouchable personality. Not ... so at the Marina Inn At Grande Dunes. Professional... definitely! But the staff is always smilling, willing to help with questions, directions and suggestions and genuinely want to make your stay an experience.

Keep in mind, when keying addresses into your GPS system, that there is both Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach and that they share some street addresses. 4800 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach is approximately 30 minutes south of 4800 S Kings Hwy, N. Myrtle Beach.

Great Place to Stay
Andy Aug 25, 2009
From the moment you valet your car (which is included in your daily rate) the staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms ... and pool are fantastic. We especially liked the shuttle to the beach and found it to be very convenient. I would recommend renting a jet ski from the marina (ask for specials), my daughter and I had a blast. Tee times at the Grande Dunes are easy and the course is first rate (suggest getting an off property deal, the concierge prices are a little steep). We would highly recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely be back again.
Traveler type: Family
Rent a jet ski from the marina and ask for any specials (if you rent later in the day you might get a better rate). If you get tee times from the hotel you may be paying higher than looking for local coupons or going direct to the facility (grande dunes). The course is fantastic and personal lessons from Brad Redding are worth the money.

Really nice hotel
Boston Prof Aug 23, 2009
I came here with a girlfriend for a long weekend in late August. The hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere but there's a ... great shuttle service to the beach. Taxi rides are kind of expensive (close to $40 to/from airport, $30 to Broadway on the Beach) so we would have probably done better renting a car. The hotel seems brand new, is spotless, the staff is very nice. Free wireless. Pool that we didn't use, three restaurants - somewhat limited menu but not an issue for 4 days. If we stayed for a week, it would have gotten old.

Very Nice Place
Vacation Family Aug 16, 2009
Marina Inn is a beautiful hotel on the inter coastal waterway in Myrtle Beach. It is only 2 years old, so it looks and feels ... new. Our room was spectacular in terms of its size, quality, layout, and furnishings. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room, because we weren't expecting such high end touches. They have a shuttle to the beach, which is nice and the pool area is great for kids. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was excellent from top to bottom. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Myrtle Beach. It was in a ... perfect location. You could get to Broadway at the Beach in less than 10 minutes and the beautiful beaches sooner than that. The next time I go to Myrtle Beach I will be back at the Marina Inn. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Definitely grab some groceries and snacks across the street at the supermarket. The pool and beach areas allowed coolers and you will save a lot of money bringing your own snacks and drinks.
