We had a wonderful time at Mandalay Bay. The staff was great and the pool area was the best I have ever had. The place has ... a very tropical feel and I had to pinch myself to remind me I wasn't in Hawaii. Casino was not manic like some we visited and the Border Grill was great.

What a disappointment
Cris Oct 24, 2009
For the amount of money we spent on these rooms we were very disappointed. We were told there was a refridgerator in the ... room before leavng home which was one of the things we were looking for in a room because Vegas meals can be draining on the wallet. Well there was a fridge, packed full of pricey beverages so no room for your snacks. Bathroom door was soooo squeaky it woke up everyone in the room when someone used the toilet in the middle of the night. Double sinks were nice, but one of them would not drain properly, and even after maintenance fixed it, it made a loud knocking noise as if something was wrong with the plumbing. We stayed 4 nights and our rooms were cleaned everyday, but when the maid replaced our glasses and towels there was always something forgotten and we would have to call down and request something everyday. A beer and a margarita at the pool came to $18, the workout room cost was $20 a day, and the roomservice prices were outrageous. We will never stay at Mandalay Bay again.

Excellent hotel to get married in
Happy Vegas Traveller Oct 22, 2009
We arrived at the hotel with intention to marry in the valley of the falls. On seeing the location out the front of the hotel ... we change our minds and requested that we marry in the chapel. The wedding service were first class and changed our wedding location a very short notice. The whole day went very smoothly. We would recommend the wedding service in this hotel 100%. Everything about the Mandalay, resturants, pool, spa, spacious casino and rooms are top quality. This rates very highly with any other hotels on the strip and one that I'd recommend to anyone.

For excellent service, wonderful food and good wine selection in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere I recommend the Verandha Resturant in the Four Seasons Hotel next to the Mandalay Bay. We had our wedding reception dinner there and we couldn't ask for anything better. Family and friends loved it at a very reasonable price. We returned a week later for an evening dinner for two. The staff remembered us and we were treated as old friends. If only resturants were as good in London.

Hotel - Superb Service not so good
Suzabelle1 Oct 18, 2009
Went into our room (which was luxurious, but had black water backing up (bubbling) in the sink, of which I wiped out once the ... multiple burping stopped. Then took off for a big day on the strip, to get back at noon and room wasn't cleaned. We left again, thinking not a problem. Come back at 4:30 and still not done, ran to get in the lazy river before it closed. Had seen cleaning ladies in the area, just assumed we would be getting our done. Came back about 5:30 to find no cleaning people in sight and room still not done. Called down stairs as I was needing to get cleaned up for a 6 o'clock dinner and had to re-use the wet dirty towels from morning. Because I needed to meet someone within a half hour I asked them to wait 1/2 hour. you can tell they were sorry for what happened but I couldn't get myself together in a half hour and had to chase them away. Needless to say when we cam back around midnight the room had been cleaned. I just did not feel clean and I had to go down with my hair wet and not set for dinner with our friends. Was shocked, but understood. But i won't let that happen again. Otherwise, the place is beautiful. Expect to go back again soon, but may next time go to another resort because of that. It was probably a fluke but in Vegas your there to enjoy and everything should be perfect. Bad experiences defines wheter another visit. is in order. But Maydalay Bay is TOP NOTCH in atomosphere for sure. All in all, it didn't kill our trip. Respectfully, Sue

We had a single girls trip out to vegas - really loved the rooms at Mandalay - the pool was nice - wanted to check out the ... lazy river but not for an additional $16 - should really be included for hotel guests! Had a delicious dinner at aureole. As a group of single girls looking to go out there were tons of great bars/clubs in Vegas but Mandalay did not offer much.
