Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino invites you to enjoy the ultimate blend of both entertainment and sophistication. It's the world of exotic luxury: 11 acres of beachside bliss, 135,000 square feet of casino, award-winning dining, luxurious spa relaxation, pillow-topped beds, a shark-themed aquarium and the ultimate in Vegas nightlife. The recent $30 million poolside renovation showcases 2,700 tons of sparkling sand beaches lined with plush foliage, waterfalls, fountains and a wave pool. And with a lazy flowing river, upscale, "European-style" bathing at Moorea Beach club and private cabanas, the most sought-after poolside paradise in Vegas is at the Beach at Mandalay Bay. Just footsteps from the crashing waves is the only waterfront gambling in the city: a glass-fronted, three-story beachfront casino. And inside, Mandalay Bay offers 135,000 square feet of gaming action. The casino was designed to make waves along the Strip with 120 gaming tables and 2,000 slot machines as well as race and sports wagering. Mandalay Bay boasts some of Vegas' famous hot spots, including the dancers of Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce and the best view of the strip at Mix Lounge. Add edge-of-your-seat, championship boxing matches and on-your-feet musical headliners, and Mandalay's events are on the pulse of every entertainment option. Mandalay Bay features imaginative cuisine for every palate: French delicacies, propelling wine angels, Hong Kong classics, even a frozen ice bar. From bold architecture and dazzling views to innovative dining and signature cocktails, Mandalay Bay's world-renowned kitchens are sure to cater to all your senses. Mandalay Bay is also home to the Shoppes at Mandalay Place - a shopping experience filled with 38 shops and restaurants. Or, get face-to-face with some fascinating creatures at North America's only predator-based aquarium at Shark Reef Aquarium. And at the end of the day, the elegance and luxury of Mandalay Bay's newly remodeled rooms and suites awaits.

*** Guests must be 21 or older to check in. Maximum stay is 14 nights - Mandalay Bay will not honor a booking longer than 14 nights. ***

Wonderful Place to Stay

We had a wonderful time at Mandalay Bay. The staff was great and the pool area was the best I have ever had. The place has ... a very tropical feel and I had to pinch myself to remind me I wasn't in Hawaii. Casino was not manic like some we visited and the Border Grill was great.

Great pool area, but very difficult to find a group of chairs together for our party. The room wasn't anything special but ... was clean. Disadvantage of being all the way at the end of the strip - far from most of the action.

What a disappointment

Cris Oct 24, 2009

For the amount of money we spent on these rooms we were very disappointed. We were told there was a refridgerator in the ... room before leavng home which was one of the things we were looking for in a room because Vegas meals can be draining on the wallet. Well there was a fridge, packed full of pricey beverages so no room for your snacks. Bathroom door was soooo squeaky it woke up everyone in the room when someone used the toilet in the middle of the night. Double sinks were nice, but one of them would not drain properly, and even after maintenance fixed it, it made a loud knocking noise as if something was wrong with the plumbing. We stayed 4 nights and our rooms were cleaned everyday, but when the maid replaced our glasses and towels there was always something forgotten and we would have to call down and request something everyday. A beer and a margarita at the pool came to $18, the workout room cost was $20 a day, and the roomservice prices were outrageous. We will never stay at Mandalay Bay again.

Excellent hotel to get married in

Happy Vegas Traveller Oct 22, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

We arrived at the hotel with intention to marry in the valley of the falls. On seeing the location out the front of the hotel ... we change our minds and requested that we marry in the chapel. The wedding service were first class and changed our wedding location a very short notice. The whole day went very smoothly. We would recommend the wedding service in this hotel 100%. Everything about the Mandalay, resturants, pool, spa, spacious casino and rooms are top quality. This rates very highly with any other hotels on the strip and one that I'd recommend to anyone.

For excellent service, wonderful food and good wine selection in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere I recommend the Verandha Resturant in the Four Seasons Hotel next to the Mandalay Bay. We had our wedding reception dinner there and we couldn't ask for anything better. Family and friends loved it at a very reasonable price. We returned a week later for an evening dinner for two. The staff remembered us and we were treated as old friends. If only resturants were as good in London.

Hotel - Superb Service not so good

Suzabelle1 Oct 18, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

Went into our room (which was luxurious, but had black water backing up (bubbling) in the sink, of which I wiped out once the ... multiple burping stopped. Then took off for a big day on the strip, to get back at noon and room wasn't cleaned. We left again, thinking not a problem. Come back at 4:30 and still not done, ran to get in the lazy river before it closed. Had seen cleaning ladies in the area, just assumed we would be getting our done. Came back about 5:30 to find no cleaning people in sight and room still not done. Called down stairs as I was needing to get cleaned up for a 6 o'clock dinner and had to re-use the wet dirty towels from morning. Because I needed to meet someone within a half hour I asked them to wait 1/2 hour. you can tell they were sorry for what happened but I couldn't get myself together in a half hour and had to chase them away. Needless to say when we cam back around midnight the room had been cleaned. I just did not feel clean and I had to go down with my hair wet and not set for dinner with our friends. Was shocked, but understood. But i won't let that happen again. Otherwise, the place is beautiful. Expect to go back again soon, but may next time go to another resort because of that. It was probably a fluke but in Vegas your there to enjoy and everything should be perfect. Bad experiences defines wheter another visit. is in order. But Maydalay Bay is TOP NOTCH in atomosphere for sure. All in all, it didn't kill our trip. Respectfully, Sue

Need a compass next time we go back, as within the casino you rely on signs from ceilings and you can walk around for hours just trying to get to monorails or outside to walk the strip. Compass would definitely assist us with the signs.

beautiful hotel

Lynnie Oct 18, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

We had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to Las Vegas and the hotel was very nice. We saw a show, ate at nice ... restaurants and just relaxed. The only little thing I would have liked was a coffee maker in the hotel room other then that the trip was great!

Mandalay Bay

Would recommend to a friend!

It was beautiful and yet friendly. We plan to stay there again as the basic experience was very comfortable and there is ... still so much to see. I would recommend this location without hesitation and look forward to returning.

Beautiful hotel

Melissa Oct 13, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

We had a single girls trip out to vegas - really loved the rooms at Mandalay - the pool was nice - wanted to check out the ... lazy river but not for an additional $16 - should really be included for hotel guests! Had a delicious dinner at aureole. As a group of single girls looking to go out there were tons of great bars/clubs in Vegas but Mandalay did not offer much.

Would def recommend looking online for restaurant coupons before your trip. We had a couple that helped out with our dining expenses.

Do not do it - too expensive

FOOD WAS GOOD BUT A LITTLE OVER PRICED 10.00 FOR BAGEL PLAIN SM OJ

--TOMMY, CINN Oct 26, 2009

For excellent service, wonderful food and good wine selection in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere I recommend the Verandha Resturant in the Four Seasons Hotel next to the Mandalay Bay. We had our wedding reception dinner there and we couldn't ask for anything better. Family and friends loved it at a very reasonable price. We returned a week later for an evening dinner for two. The staff remembered us and we were treated as old friends. If only resturants were as good in London.

If you need something, try to talk to a manager, this hotel does not have much of a service oriented culture. Only 1 in 9 of their employees really cared or tried to resolve my problem

The BUFFET is by far the best deal for dining in the hotel area. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced

Time savers hint, In Hotel

If you have been to Vegas before, get a hotel that is right in the middle of the strip that way you can just spend a small amount of your day walking and shopping on one end and do the other end another day. If you haven't been before, definitely stay at one end of the strip or the other so you are not backtracking.

--Gemini11, Milwaukee, WI Oct 6, 2009

Definitely go to the the Venetian for Tao nightclub..and the Wynn for XS nightclub! They are the best in town!

You can eat all day at the Bayside Buffet for $35 per person. This was still in effect when we were there, but may end so double check if interested.

Don't forget the free drinks while you are gambling. If you are a low stakes gambler, you can sit a long time in front of a slot machine, getting free drinks (please remember tip the hostesses).
