Prime Beach Location

I have been to Mazatlan numerous times and I really have no complaints about the hotel. Having breakfast on the beach is a ... great way to start the day.The location is within walking distance of everything in the gold zone. I'm going back. Also, thanks to Orbitz for keeping me informed about the "flu" outbreak.

Good with More Expensive Room

Los Sabalos was a very nice hotel as long as you stayed in the more expensive rooms. Our hot water was brown and there were ... bugs ever where. A friend met us there on the third night and we asked to be upgraded to a room with two beds. The staff upgraded our room without a charge, it was well worth it. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from the 5th floor. We really liked that once you entered the room most outside noise could not be heard. The staff cleaned everyday, and the grounds were very clean. There are plenty of dining options in the area. I would stay here again as long as I stayed in a more expensive room.
