Had a bad experience listening to staff talk to another customer about a bad room experience. [...] We arrived about 30 ... minutes early and there were no rooms ready (none Cleaned) the employee wasn't able to clearly explain, that their staff cleans from noon til 3pm. Coffee provided to rooms smelled like dirt water and was undrinkable. We were checked in but it took 30 minutes for her to run around the hotel and find a room. Poor management planning they cannot track other employees to know what has been prepared. Hotel is not recommended to others.

First off, the hotel was extremely easy to find; a definite plus when you're from out of town. When we arrived, the hotel ... parking lot was full, so at first I was afraid that noise might be an issue. We proceeded to the check in counter where the gentleman behind the desk [...]was not unfriendly, but neither was he pleasant. We checked in without incident and were pleasantly surprised that we had been upgraded to the Jacuzzi Suite. The bedding was of good quality and the bed itself was very comfortable. The room had beautiful vaulted ceilings and was set up very well. We had a very pleasant stay. Checkout was a breeze, as they simply asked for my room number and told me we were "good to go." Highly recommended for the price.

Quiet place

The hotel was in a town just below Minneapolis. Very quiet and relaxed. The room was nothing special, There was a little ... table/desk just for laptop. The room was clean. The hotel is a quarter of hour from "anywhere" (mall of America, downtown, uptown...). It is OK for few days stays, maybe for a week-end.

The hotel is in a good location and is reasonably priced. However, they have a poor wifi internet signal and the beverage ... machines were empty. The shower is not to compatible for a taller person, had to crouch down to wash my hair.

I've stayed there twice now and was not impressed with the staff either time. Last time there was no one manning the desk in ... the middle of the night and there were strange men walking around the halls trying to get into rooms. This time the woman was not there for 10 minutes when we were trying to check in and was rude once we got there. The bathroom was small and not very clean.

Not clean or kept up

We were in town for a wedding and LivInn was a part of the package we were given [...] We were only going to sleep in the ... room for a total of ten hours for two nights but that was too long! It was described as a three star [...] but it was a 1.5 star--solid. No bugs, but felt like they had some; shady looking clientele and noisy; the beds were clean but cheap: had dollar store blue and white striped hard pillows and scratchy. cheap 100 thread count sheets. The bathroom was straight dirty: not cleaned well, so I asked for a room change. The next room's bathroom had a dirtier and older toilet and a slightly cleaner tub...but still dirty! A mess. And the place has potential--new looking stainless steel fridge and microwave in the rooms--but if management is not going to match rooms to the clean looking lobby and appliances, they need to close the place. It is a shady mess. Some of the bath towels were dirty too.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful - knowledgeable about the area. There aren't very many rooms, but that gives it a ... cozy feel. It's a historic place and the rooms reflect that, which make it a great couples getaway place (I went with my significant other and it was the perfect retreat for our anniversary). There is slight construction now, they're working on redoing parking I believe.

For having a 3 out of 5 rating we had higher expectations. Upon arrival everything was run down. Once we were in our room the ... chairs were soiled from previous guests. The walls are paper thin you could hear people talk. This extended stay hotel was not catering to business people, it was more of local people who used it as their home. A gal was checking in beside us and she was charged full price which was only 13 dollars difference. This was our first time we have used Orbitz. I am not sure if we will again. This diffently is not a 3 out of 5 hotel. More of a 1 out of 5. Wireless Internet did not work, when I called down to the front dest the guy was very rude. In the shower there were Razor covers that had not been thrown away.

I was pleasantly suprised. It was better than I expected for the price. We needed an inexpensive place to shower and sleep ... when we went to Valleyfair for the weekend and we got it. Only 10 minutes away. Safe, clean, and affordable. Very friendly staff!!! I reccomended to a friend already!

It was a nice hotel. I specifically booked non smoking room, but I got smoking room. They did not have any non smoking rooms. ... That ruined the whole stay with family and small kids.

Well, it started with Check-In - I had paid for 2 rooms. They only showed 1. Finally was able to get 2nd room after the ... line of people formed behind me. Still not sure if I am getting charged a 2nd time. Then the room - well the TV only had 4 channels, but our friends had 44 channels. You had to pay for coffee and ice and went to front desk to straighten out the reservation mess later and no one was around. The next morning the lady was very nice, but did not have internet access so she could not check on our reservation and now we wait to see if we get charged again. People were nice, and rate was cheap. So good if your just sleeping there, but would not book it if we had our children with, due to no pool.

Pretty bare bones. Bed was good. Bathroom was old and needed updating. Water would go from hot to cold during showers. ... A/C unit noisy and pretty much ineffective. Walls paper thin. Good stuff-Free coffee downstairs, friendly, helpful staff.
