Look into the Salt Lake Connect Pass, it saves you tons on money on the top area attractions making more fun possible on a budget. Make an effort to hear the free practice of the Tabernacle choir or organ. The Bay Leaf and Eva were an awesome dining experience too!

Don't really need to rent a car, in hotel restaurant, though pricey was very good. Many good restaurants are within walking distance and many cabs available to get you to and from the airport.

All the people working at the Hotel were very friendly, and helpful. We asked one employee where a certain "Arizona" Room ... was, and he walked us to the room, instead of just "pointing" where it was.

Great location and staff!
TravelLov3r Oct 19, 2009
The hotel fit what we paid for. Clean room, a bit small, very quiet, and parking was nice. Breakfast buffet was awesome, ... and great tasting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of most everything and great unique Salt Lake Restaurants near by (Eva and the Bay Leaf were DELICIOUS). One block from free TRAX system, was very convenient. Lobby was beautiful, even though room was a bit outdated.

Hotel review
Mike Oct 8, 2009
The staff was extremely service oriented and helpful. The room was a bit dated, especially the pink tile in the bathroom; ... however, was very clean. I also liked the fact that no Adult movies were offered...a rarity in this day and age. The first night I was there I had trouble with the noise from the floor above me...made that complaint known to the front desk the next day and they got me another room that was much quieter...very responsive and helpful staff.

Sports Bar in hotel has great TV coverage, service and food ; just don't blame staff for arcane Utah liquor laws. Stick to beer and wine as hard liquor is limited to 1 oz per drink (but is not reflected in lower drink prices).

When I reserved the trip I was not aware that my room was not in the main hotel, and that it would be in one of the old, ... standard 'motel' rooms that had a front door open to the outdoors. I ended up having to pay an extra $40 per night to get a room in the main building.

The gentleman's cut of prime rib is HUGE! The steak is extremely tender and the service is amazing. However, the menu is small (maybe 15 different options). They also have an indoor pool and jacuzzi in addition to the outdoor pool.

If you like Mexican food, I highly recommend the Red Iguana. Very casual, superb food, but get there early and your wait to get in for dinner may only be 1/2 hour or so - BUT the wait is Worth it!!!!
--Walkman, Yardley, PA Jun 28, 2009
The best noon buffet in the City is in the hotel itself. At night, it turns into a steak house with excellent food. It is a little too far to walk to most other restaurants, but there are many within a 5 minute drive.
