Four nights at the Limelite
Richard Sep 21, 2009
We have been to Aspen several times over the years and have stayed in other Hotels, Lodges and Houses. We come to relax, ... watch Rugby, do a little fishing and do our share of shopping and dining out. This year we wanted to be closer to the park so that we could watch Rugby from our room. The limelite seem to fit the bill. We booked the trip because the room rate fit into our budget. When we arrived I was very pleased at a quick check in and the quality of our room over looking the park. I also liked having quick access to the under ground parking and a fast elevator service to get me to my floor. I liked the idea of getting to my car when I wanted instead of waiting for valet service. I'm now aware of the other amenities the Hotel has such as, outside private patios, laundry services, very nice pool and spa, gym, morning breakfast with plenty of food and a great staff that makes it work. Also the Limelite is the perfect location for walking around town and real close to public transportation. I recommend the Limelite to anyone visiting the Aspen area. It sure was our big surprize this year and we will come back next year and bring some friends.

Very Happy
The Traveling Kayaker Apr 22, 2009
We went for the "last weekend" at Ajax, and sort of chose Limelight Lodge based on reviews here. Rooms are large and have a ... gas fireplace. We had a King Bed Room(recommended, FYI). Location is superb, one block from center of most everything, 3 blocks from the bus system to Snowmass, Buttermilk, etc. Pool has 2 large hot tubs next to it, and staff was EXREMELY friendly. Wifi is complimentary, so we could check out things to do on my laptop. 4th floor has a "party deck" where we sat and had drinks watching the sunset(made them in our room, walked out). The breakfast is good, don't get me wrong, but for what this Hotel costs typically, I expected a bit better. Great apre-ski atmosphere as well. I would highly recommend the Limelight, and we will stay here next trip to Aspen as well I'm sure.
