Leinaala is a smaller condominium resort that's big on features. This is a place where the tradition of the aloha spirit dwells and guests will always feel welcome as they enjoy the intimate, friendly atmosphere. Kihei's sunny shoreline is the setting for Leinaala. Only twenty minutes drive from Kahului Airport, this oceanfront property is convenient to shopping, banks and a post office. Also in the area are fine restaurants and championship-caliber golf. Each of the condominium units enjoys stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains. The modern conveniences are here, from air-conditioning, to cable television, to fully appointed kitchens. Leinaala offers many recreational opportunities: swimming in the pool, tennis, fishing, windsurfing, beach combing, and seasonal whale watching. Or, some guest just prefer to relax on the lanai, entertained by another impressive Maui sunset as seen from their piece of paradise. **Minimum 4-night stay is required or a cleaning fee will be needed at check-out**

Great property but pick carefully
Tom in SF Oct 19, 2009
The property was great. On the oceanfront and a feeling of being in your very own cove. The sunsets were beautiful. The ... property managers were so helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The unit (203) is outdated, worn, and in need of work. It was comfortable although a bit warm in the bedroom although perfect in the living room area. The unit is for sale. Hopefully, the next owner will update it. I understand the units that have been updated are quite nice although a bit more expensive. I'd consider going back to this property.

Not a resort, but great location for sur
Mytor Apr 26, 2009
The location was definitely handy for taking off north or south to other parts of the island. It was away from the heavily ... populated areas of Kihei, which made it nice and quiet on the back side lanai. There was a park between the condo and ocean, which was a 2 minute walk across the grass. The unit was a nice set up with all the kitchen amenities that you needed. The bedroom could have used some type of blinds, as the light from outside shone through the window all night; made for tough sleeping. Overall a good place for the money spent.

Great View
Dale Dec 4, 2008
Wonderful location in Kihei. Great expansive view across public park lawn to ocean. this is the area of Kihei for wind ... surfers and kite surfers, so you could be constantly entertained watching them from the deck. Tennis courts also available in large city park in front of us. Unit was clean, lots of cooking utensils, small and quiet. Very relaxing place to stay. Only negative was their gas barbecue was filthy. We ended up buying a small charcoal unit, although I believe management did clean the barbecue after we mentioned it to them. This is a great place at this price.

Many inexpensive but tasty restaurants such as Stella Blues and Da Kitchen are nearby. For more expensive but exquisite, try Roy's next to the Safeway.

Comfortable Crashing Place
Jeremy Sep 3, 2007
Leinaala Condominiums are like a home away from home. The only difference are that it is probably smaller than your home, ... and there are so many things to do on Maui that you don't want to spend much time indoors anyway. We enjoyed the balcony, comfortable bedroom, decent bathroom, and well appointed kitchen. The living room had a hide-a-bed, cable tv, and you could pay for cable internet usage. We didn't really watch TV and didn't feel like using the internet with all the beaches, snorkeling, and Hana drive. Many shops and restaurants are located nearby in Kihei or Wailea.

Great place to stay!
Patricia Aug 20, 2007
The Leinaala is very conveniently located in Kihe. It is out of the main stream resort area and quiet. The condo is very ... clean, well-supplied, air-conditioned, and has the best sunsets and moon rises! Sandy is on site and very helpful. We would recommend it to everyone and in fact have. We plan on returning for Humpbacks in March.

Friendly
John Jul 18, 2007
The Lady running the place was the best. We paid extra for a hide-a-way bed when in fact it was the sofa that converted into ... a bed. In the bedroom there was no aircondioner, there was a swamp cooler. We hadto empty the bucket in it every day and that was a pain. There was no beach to speak of. It was always full of seaweed and a buldozier was always working each day along the whole streach of beach around and including our Condo.

Terrific Value!
Jim May 24, 2007
The Leinaala was a fantastic place to stay!! Our room was immaculate, well stocked, quiet, convenient and comfortable. The ... view from the lanai was incredible! This was the best room value we ever had. (We had a late check-in, that went just as they said it would, with no problems). It was everything we had hoped it would be!! We would stay there again, as well as recommend to anyone looking for a great condo, for a great price!
