Mrs. EGP Nov 10, 2009
It was a great room with a spectacular view for the best price in town. The only complaint is that upon our arrival, it was ... little hectic and the lines were long for check-in and to top it off, the hotel had not received our internet reservation so we had to wait a little longer to get a room. Other than that, everything was really nice, clean and comfortable.

Hilton is Showing it's Age
Sanchez Nov 9, 2009
This trip was booked as a package deal [...] and while checking in I was notified that I could not claim any Hilton Honors ... points for this stay due to it being a package deal. This might make me rethink this route for next year. If the Hilton wasn't so close to the convention center I would seriously consider another hotel. The rooms are showing their age in the bathrooms, carpets and amenities. Something as simple as a functional ice machine within 1/4 mile of my room would be nice.

Great as usual
Jason M. Nov 2, 2009
As usual, my stay at the Las Vegas Hilton was fantastic. This is a great Hilton property to stay at if you have Gold or ... Diamond status in the HHonors program. Gold and Diamond members get upgraded accommodations into a newly renovated room that has a refrigerator, health club access, and free breakfast every morning at "The Buffet". Great property with excellent staff that were very accommodating. The slots in the casino were a bit tight, do your gambling downtown on Fremont Street and you'll have a much better time.

The hotel is ok if you get a deal. We paid $99 which was not bad at all. It has the monorail located at the entrance which ... is great but other than that it's ok. Our room looked great but under further review we found somethings that needed some attention. The sheets were not that clean. The bathroom had a worn out tub and there was a hole in the bathroom cieling. The TV had basic cable. Other than that it wasn't bad if you want to go to vegas and save some money.

Not your best deal
bob Oct 26, 2009
First given one room, than switched (as they claimed for a better one ). Result was that the key did not work, so I had to ... go down for new keys. Very stressful after a long drive. On top of it, it turned out it was a room next to the elevators. Very noisy, unpleasant sounds. They should give customers earplugs along with the key. Do not disturb door tag does not mean a thing. Regarding the bonus vouchers for food, it's all scam. You have to spend over $100 for dinner for two, in order to use a $25 voucher. The hotel is quite far from the main strip, and monorail is $5 each way. No discounts on that. When you add it all up, there are better deals on the strip.

Handicapped Accessible
Sweet Marie Oct 13, 2009
I was travelling with a wheelchair bound friend. I requested and was given a handicapped accessible room ( tried this at ... another casino and they would not guarantee an accessible room ). We were running late for the Barry Manilow show and were unable to check in early. Spoke to one of the night shift about this - he requested my name, told me to go on to the show and everything would be fine. HE WAS RIGHT ! After the concert, the same gentleman checked us into our room. The room was lovely, nice and spacious. Very nice bathing arrangements in the bathroom. My friend said that this was her favorite of the rooms we stayed in ( 3 hotels were involved ) while out west. She did say that the beds could have been about 6 inches shorter so as to be a bit more accessible from her wheelchair.
