The good, the bad, and the really ugly
Our experience was not good. We checked in and then went out to explore the town. We returned about midnight and sat down on ... our bed which then collapsed on one side, with the frame breaking as it went town. We could then see it had been glued together. We went and called the management to be rudely told to just find another hotel. This is high season in Hawaii and none are available, but she didn't care, said there was nothing she could do. The rooms are very small, so we couldn't even put the mattress on the floor. Ever sleep sideways for a night? Not fun!

Great Location
The Lahaina Inn is right in the heart of all of the activity in Lahaina. The beds are comfortable. The hotel manager is not ... present 24 hours a day. Each room has its own private lanai but the guy next door wouldn't stop smoking, even after the manager told him to stop 3 times (and its against the law). The smoke made it impossible to use the balcony. Also parking is about a block away but easy to get to.
