When shuttle driver to pick us up at Metro not available, they paide for the cab ride back. Worked out well for us. Room ... clean and comfortable, breakfast great. Our room was just off lobby, and a little noisey, during breakfast rush, but not really an issue.

I travel alot and this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Upon check-in the front desk assistant did not offer ... any information--i.e. breakfast time. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it was very apparent that it had been smoked in. There was even tobacco on the nightstand. Only good thing about the hotel was it's proximity to airport.

Complimentary breakfast closed at 9:00 am which seems early; we got there at 9:20 and all was gone. Pool was cold and not ... heated (it was 80 degrees outside, so it was still swimming weather). Fan, A/C worked intermittently.

The shuttle driver to the airport was very nice- my daughter left her wallet on the back seat and discovered this right after ... we were dropped off at the airport- we called the hotel and he brought her wallet to us when he made his next shuttle run to the airport. We got checked in with no problem and did not miss our flight- thanks to their quick response to our call and notification of the shuttle driver. We left our car at the hotel while we went on our trip to Texas and when we got back the shuttle driver helped us load our suitcases into the car and the car was fine. The exercise room was small but had enough equipment that covered a good workout. The staff was very accommodating. There is a Denny's next door.

We has no problem finding the hotel as it was right off 270. We came to STL to go to a Cardinals game and chose the value of ... this La Quinta. We drove a short distance to the North Hanley Metro exchange (free Parking) and took the train in. It was a great experience and we did not have the hassle of driving downtown or trying to get out of the crowd after the game. The hotel was a great value and in a good location. The room wss adequate, clean, and functional (but a SMALL bathroom). The continential breakfast was just what you would expect (no eggs/meat). Since we planned to just sleep at the hotel and do all of our activities elsewhere I was VERY pleased with the hotel and its value. I would definately stay here again with my family.

This overnight stay was probably one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff was professional and courteous, the room ... was clean and quiet, the local was only 12-minutes from the airport with free shuttle. The hotel was a great value and a pleasant change. Well worth the money.

I have ate a number of Denny's over the years, but this was the best. The staff was on the ball, the food was great, the restaurant was clean and it was right next door to the hotel so that you did not have to leave and search for another place to eat and could relax.

Traveling across country, needed a place to stay for the night. Was exactly what we needed. We were traveling with two dogs ... and other dogs were at the hotel. No noise from other dogs at the hotel. Very restful, no dog smells at all highly recommended for travelers with or with out dogs.
