The Sedona environ has several rock formations that are stunning in terms of size, shape, and color, including ones in the immediate area of the Inn. And stops at Montezuma National Monument, or other sites of Native American homes built into rock scapes by the Sinagua, are within easy driving distance.

You have to eat at Picazzo's Gourmet Pizza and Salad. We are from the northeast and the Pizza was better than some from home, really great, the salad's are just amazing. It's on rt 89A in west Sedona, just go and you'll love it.

Red Rocks for a Reasonable Price!
Albert Jun 20, 2008
La Quinta Inn at Sedona was conveniently located among the Red Rocks of Sedona and close to the art district. The location ... among the beauty that is Sedona really makes this inn a reasonable purchase. The room and its amenities were tidy and ample. The staff was courteous and helpful with any questions we had. Restaurants were close by and some served very good food. The Grand Canyon and Beringer Meteor Crater were not to far where we stayed. La Quinta Inn at Sedona, AZ has alot to offer for the right price!

Pleasant & Good Location

La Quinta Inn in Sedona was a good location for our driving trips in and about the beautiful Red Rock Country area. The Inn's ... breakfast set-up was above average, and the breakfast food selection (included in cost of stay) was as well.

Very Uncomfortable beds and Extremely OVERPRICED
margaret Apr 7, 2008
My wife and I were very disapointed with the La Quinta In, in Sedona, AZ. This hotel was by no means comfortable or up to ... standards with other options in the city. The bed was very painful to sleep on since the mattress was so old I could feel the coil springs poking through my body and extremely noisy. The staff were not helpful and very rude at times. Sedona is a small beautiful city, which is visited by touritsts from all over the world for its outdoors activities and within close proximity to the Grand Canyon, therefore, the hotel staff realizes the hotel's high demand causing them to be careless with their patrons. We'll certainly visit Sedona again but will try to avoid La Quinta In at all cost...

Good location
Josie Mar 16, 2008
La Quinta's location was great. The views were AWESOME. It was near restaurants, shopping centers and gas stations. It ... snowed Sunday(apparently unusual), but this didn't bother us a bit, we rarely get snow in Fresno, CA so it was a treat for us. The only complaint we had were the pillows in the room. They were flat and HARD - very, very uncomfortable. We called the front desk to get additional pillows, however, they had just given out the last two. The staff were friendly and helpful in directing us to a delicious chinese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.

Beautiful Location, comfortable
raquel Apr 23, 2007
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn, in the Village of Oak Creek section of Sedona, in April 2007 for 5 days 4 nights. The stay ... was very comfortable and the views are phenomenal. We looked outside our window and saw the beautiful red rocks, the skyline and part of the town. The room was pretty good, nicely sized, temperature was great and the bed very comfy. The fan in the bathroom didn't work but other than that the room itself was good. The continental breakfast that came with our stay was yummy, although we think that yogurt would have rounded out the meal. The one thing that bugged us was that the room service people obviously had some issues. We, when staying longer than one night have a tendency to tip a lot at the end. This may not be the correct way to do it but to be honest we are very generous. After our first nights' stay we realized that the towels were only changed if they were obviously out of place (hand towels that we used were still there) and they didn't leave us any new coffee packets or sugar/creamer packs. We called the front desk and someone brought the necessities. The next day we left a tip and when we got back, everything was perfect, all new stuff, perfect. The third day we didn't have any change and sure enough, no new items. To be forthcoming we didn't tell the frontdesk about our issues because we didn't want to make trouble and also, when somewhere new you don't know how the staff will react or what they might do. This was our choice but either way the staff should not run their work responsibilities based on tip. It is their job to do the work, period, with attitudes like that I'm sure that they will be getting less and less tips or won't be employed long.
