Overall our stay was great. The room was very clean and the staff was personable. The breaksfast in the morning was good. The ... only issue we had was that the room above us was full of children who kept running down the halls and jumping off beds. We did call the front desk and complain but it didn't seem to do much good. I would stay at this hotel again but would ask for a room away from young children.

There were restaurants and shopping nearby. However, my main focus was at the Salt Palace Convention Center for a conference. The palace wasn't too far to drive. Although I did find the freeways a bit confusing compared to California.

My room at La Quinta Inn was very spacious. I liked the hallway entry to the closet and restroom. We had lost power for a ... few hours due to a thunder storm. I would suggest that the Inn place emergency lighting in the hallways and emergency lighting available in the rooms. There were some stains on the chairs that should be addressed. Otherwise, I was satisfied with my accomodations.
