Great location!!

This was a great hotel with nice rooms and a very friendly staff. Our location was perfect because after working, we had a ... short distance to go for lots of shopping and the hotel is in the same parking lot as Denny's. It was nice to walk to a decent dinner. I will always stay here when I am in SLC.

NE Oct 19, 2009
Our room was clean and well supplied. But the tub did not drain, and the hall and next-door noise was considerable. The ... breakfast bar was average, but the staff were extremely helpful. We lost a camera while there and the staff went out of their way to help us search for it.

Low price, comfortable stay
UTBoarder Oct 10, 2009
For the under 50 per night price range, you can't beat it. Free wifi, hot tub and pool (not heated, though they say it is!) ... and an expanded continental breakfast that includes waffles, and right off the I-15. Not Luxury, but definetly a deal for the price!

good hotel
hotel doc Sep 22, 2009
on a business trip. stayed one night. room was big. A/C was on. had a desk and chair. the breakfast next day was nice ... (cereal, toast, bagel, yogurt, milk in small cartons, fruit, muffins, etc). the front desk staff was perhaps the nicest and friendliest that i have seen in a long time. Restaurants are around the corner.

AWFUL!
Niss Aug 27, 2009
The room itself was very nice, loved the bed! However, the wireless internet never worked, and I would have never booked this ... hotel had I known that to be the case. Getting work done at Kinko's until 11pm every night, not fun! Also, the customer service was lackluster. the manager was downright rude, and the room wasn't cleaned or re stocked every day. I would say it is an okay place to stay for a quick overnight, but avoid at all costs if you want service, or internet access!

Noisy Hotel
Travel_Guy Aug 19, 2009
The hotel is in a good location. Rooms were clean. Problem area is the doors to the hallway. They look new but they don't ... seal the door properly. When the lights were turned off in the room, you could see big gaps in the door and light shining through. Because the door didn't seal properly you could hear everything that was going on in the hallway. It probably didn't help that some guests allowed their kids to run up and down the hallway screaming until well past bedtime.

Disappointed in our stay
Bummer Aug 12, 2009
We had pre-paid for a room. When we arrived, they had overbooked and given away our room. My husband and I had to sleep in ... separate beds. Only one elevator near the front of the hotel. We were at the back and had to carry our luggage up stairs to the second floor.

Good value, great access to ski resorts
orlando Mar 31, 2009
This was three dudes on a ski vacation, so the focus was on skiing and eating out afterwards. The room was there to shower ... and sleep in. That's said it was always clean and our needs were attended to. I would reconsider if I planned on spending more time at the hotel or if I had kids who would be in room getting antsy.

Very good value for money for our budget ski trip.
Annie Dec 2, 2008
This is our second time staying at the La Quinta. It was right in our budget. We chose it because of its easy access to ... highways leading to the Cottonwood Canyons and the ski areas there. Hopped on the highway, and we were there in under 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Spent all day at the slopes, came home to a comfortable hotel. Not luxury, but very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection in the morning was very good - gotta love those waffle machines! Plus breads and jams and oatmeal, yoghurt, hot beverages, etc.
