just needed a room close to the airport for the night. nothing special, but good for the price and there's a mcdonald's a ... couple blocks away :) very friendly staff at the front desk. the eating area looked very clean, although I didn't have the time to eat there.

Staff was quick to change rooms because of the smoke smell but the second room, while not as bad, wasn't great smelling ... either. Rooms were clean. It was just the smell. Nice breakfast, close to American River walkway, and they offered quick and friendly airport service.

I took the train to Sacramento to watch a baseball game. The hotel was 3/4 mile from the ballpark, via a lovely riverside ... walk, and close to the Old Town. If you stay here, try and get a riverside room. The other side overlooks I-5. Good continental breakfast.

My husband is in the CHP academy and we were planning on using this hotel in the future, but do to the floor in the hotel ... room and the bed being soaked with water and being transfered to a smaller noisier room I dont think we will use them again.

Catheter in my chair!!

Our room came equiped with a catheter in the chair by the door. Our bathtub plug would not work. We had to have a worker ... come to fix the tub and take away the catheter. Everyone was very nice about our problems and when I called the customer service line they said they would refund our money. The location, age and condition of the rooms and lack of pool defy their price of almost $100.00 per night.

We drove about 6 miles to the north and a bit east to a shopping center to eat at Mimi's and really liked their food. Quiet area and parking was easy. We had trouble finding parking in downtown Sacramento

The location is very conveniently located. From the hotel room door to the airport counter is 15 minutes including parking. Discovery park and old town is very near by. The state capital and downtown business is also very near. Arden mall is just 10 minutes away, so the location works well.
