I stayed at this hotel earlier this week, it was a decent stay with the exception of a mix-up with the airport shuttle. The ... hotel was no different on this stay. The airport shuttle continued to be a problem. This time, I went to pick my granddaughter up at the airport on her return flight from Hawaii. The hotel airport shuttle does not operate after 10 PM. One of the two main reasons I selected this hotel was the airport shuttle (the other being location, which was great). I spoke with the desk representitive in the morning at checkout about my disappointment in the shuttle service and was treated with indifference. I told her this hotel advertises the shuttle on Orbitz, where I secured my reservation. She claimed it did not and would not verify. When I returned home, she had called to say it was there but did not say available 24 hours. In the future, I will not stay in this hotel. Two stays in one week and a recurring problem. All is not negative, as I mentioned the location is great, the room was clean and comfortable (both stays), and the continental breakfast needs improvement. This hotel is a little pricey for a one night stay.

Chose this La Quinta Inn because it was close to the airport and have stayed in this chain of hotels before. Check in was ... done well and the room was clean and comfortable. Dennys Restaurant was right accross the parking lot. Continental Breakfast was sparse and there was a mix-up with the airport shuttle van. I was able to take the van to the airport to drop my granddaughter off for her flight to Hawaii. The driver told me he would come back to pick me up, just call. When I called, I was informed by the desk since I already checked out, they would not come to pick me up. I had to pay $36 for a cab. The room was a little pricy for an overnight stop.

This was one of the best trips to AZ that my sister and I have had. The hotel staff went out of their way to aid us in ... getting our boarding passes printed and tried hard to help with ticket changes. The only thing that would be to an advantage for customers would be an internet computer for them to check airlines for themselves. Wonderful stay and plan on coming back to stay again.

It is very easy to get to from Sky Harbor Airport, and is in a ... very convenient location in Tempe that allowed easy access to the freeways and the other parts of town. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and rather large. Had a great desk set-up for business purposes. Overall a great place.

I had a bad experience because I bought a fligth in Orbitz from Miami to phoenix with connection in Chigago and the fligh was ... delay so the fligh Chicago -Phoneix was gone when we arrived to the airport, so that we had to pay a hotel in Chicago for 75 dlls and we lost our money that we paid to Orbiz for the night Sep 5, at La Quinta Inn Phoenix, So my request is if you can return my money back because I talked to the hotel and they told me that I need to talk with you. Hope you can help me.

For the price, I thought it was a great hotel. I was in town for the memorial of a family friend so it suited my needs. The ... rooms was clean and the staff was cordial and helpful. The location was near the freeway, which made it easier for me to get back on the road to California. The only glitches had to do with the bathroom. I had to hold the handle down to completely flush the toilet and the there was a leak in the sink. Other than that, all else was good.

Inflexible hotel shuttle service

I was traveling on business. I had a very early flight and needed to take the hotel advertised shuttle service to the ... airport prior to their start time of 5:00 a.m. The hotel was 2 miles from the airport, but I had to take a cab with a minimum $16 fare because they were not more flexible with their shuttle service. Other hotels in the area much better accomodate business travelers.
