Disabled Unfriendly

We reserved a double bed room for the disabled. Hotel had total of five rooms for disabled and all had one full size bed. ... This presents a problem if you're traveling with your spouse / love one. Actually this was a big problem. Short story we had to take a double bed room that was not handicap accessible. No handles in the shower& The chain guard on the door was broken. The carpet is looks old and worn. It may have been clean it was hard to tell. Never again will we take a room that allows smoking. The smell was terrible. The worst! The staff was pleasant. For the price, we probably got just what we paid for.

This hotel was fine for a one night stay before leaving for the Milwaukee airport early in the morning. We have stayed at ... this hotel at least four times over the past couple of years while visiting family in Wisconsin. Only for one night each time. Not much to do in the area, but the hotel is inexpensive, relatively clean, and comfortable. We will stay there again next trip.

Stayed 2 nights. Came back to the room at the end of the second day. Room had not been attended. Called front desk, they ... checked the list. Maid indicated the room had been cleaned. Front desk brought us clean towels. Realize it is an economy motel, but breakfast could be just a bit better. Better looking breads/pastries come from a grocery store. Didn't even go on second day. It's not just this motel, others in the same chain are exactly the same. Guess the price makes up for it. We'll stay again, though. as the price was good and comfortable accommodations.

This hotel had was great! The staff were very responsive. The rooms were clean and non-smoking was great. If you do not ... require some sort of deluxe experience...this was really wonderful. The bed and pillows were great-unlike other slightly less expensive hotels. The breakfast bar was also very good. I would go back to this one in a second.

We arrived late at night, travelling to attend the funeral of my wife's mother. When we entered the room, it had not been ... cleaned, with beer bottles scattered about. At 11:30 pm, we were not about to wait for them to clean the room. I cannot comment on any other aspect of the hotel.

We have family in Milwaukee and in Menomonee Falls, but most of our time was to be spent in Milwaukee. The hotel was ... very conveniently located. Close enough to the airport to be convenient, but far enough away that we didn't feel we were on the runway. It was easy on and off the freeway. The staff were all courteous and friendly. The morning breakfast was very good and conditions at the hotel were generally clean. A number of airline crews were staying in the hotel. Applebee's is right next door which was a plus and a minus on this trip. The minus was on Saturday night when Applebees was full, the overflow parking came to the hotel parking lot. There were about five drunk young men in the parking lot swearing and threatening each other. This also happened to be Graduation weekend and the youngsters across the hall were having a beer party which ultimately the hotel management broke up after several complaints from their neighbors which (to the management's credit) they took care of. I marked down the review of the hotel for a couple of things. Obviously some construction and repairs have been done to the hotel as the pushbuttons for the elevators were poorly reinstalled, making the appearance of poor workmanship. The hotel has some wear and tear on it as did the room, but overall that wasn't too bad. I have stayed in worse. I would stay in it again.

La Quinta was very cozy, it was nice I would have liked to see a microwave in the room for the convience of late night ... snacking. I also felt more television programming would have been nice since this was a way to get away for anight to relax and enjoy.Overall enjoyable and will definitely stay there again.

Our stay was ok. I'm sure it had alot to do with the circumstand of our airplane was delayed 3 hours. So,lost time visting ... that night with family. They were very helpful with the shuttle from the airport. They Stayed until our airplane came in. The room was very cold at first and the beds were very hard. Every one was very plesant and helpful.

If you are looking for a place to crash the LaQuinta is a good location for the money. The staff, although a bit rough ... around the edges, are attentive and make an effort to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are standard and unmemorable.
