It was a good, clean hotel, with friendly staff. My only complaint was that they had no shuttle service to and from Hobby ... Airport.

It was clean but not a 3-star hotel. The staff was very friendly. The lobby looked renovated and the rooms were for the most ... part but they were very small. The rooms had a mildew/stale odor. Easy access to freeway and where I needed to be.

For being right next to the highway, it was extremely quiet considering my window was facing the highway. Staff were really ... nice and helpful. Room looked very clean but there was a really strong chemical smell. The only other issue was that when you turned the tv channels each one had a different volume level so extremely loud on one but the next next to nothing. I would recommend others to visit this hotel as long as they are not in the hotel room for more than just sleeping. Nice location to get to all the great sites in Houston.

When we first checked in we were given room 207 but it did'nt take long for the noisy AC to force us to ask for another room. ... Oh I'm sorry that's not true the first thing was the pool was not open due to green alege and the kids were looking foward to swimming in it. Then when we moved to our new room we could smell the scent of drugs in the hallway On Thursday night I noticed there were some ants crawling on some of my sons shorts that he left on the floor. we're on the second floor mind you. That same night about 5 or so in the morning I here someone banging on a door in the hallway, then I here a ladies voice saying "Get out of my room." I don't want you in my room!" This went on for about 10-15 minutes finally I called downstairs and they said they would check on it. I never got a response back about that. All in all it was not a very pleasant stay and I unfortuately had already been charged for these 3 nights!

Oh look mommy, the big dog . . . as I walked my dog through the breakfast area and out the main doors. My room was facing Hwy ... 59 a very busy expressway but the room was very quiet - - I had to look twice at the windows as the room was very quiet. The staff was very nice and liked animals. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a pet.

Only problem was the traffic noise and not being able to turn off air conditioner. This problem was solved by unplugging air ... conditioner. Unable to solve traffic noise.

This hotel is rather run down and shabby, especially for this chain. We have stayed in other La Quintas & been satisfied, so ... we chose this one for the location. The elevator did not work and because 2 of us were using canes we had to take a 1st floor room, all of which open directly into the parking lot. This is not the best option in this neighborhood. Our request for non-smoking didn't go through and there was quite a wait while a "clean" room was located. We checked in at 7:30pm & the hotel was not at all full, so this was surprising. The night clerk was very pleasant and helpful and was the best part of our stay. The room had no hot water, microwave or mini fridge. The breakfast was nice, but on our 2nd am all the milk was sour. We opened 3 cartons and couldn't let our 5 yr. old have any of them. If I hadn't prepaid through Orbitz we would have left after 1 night.

The La Quinta Inn was comfortable. I really liked that it had a small refrigerator with freezer and a microwave for our ... use. I also enjoyed that there was a washer and dryer available for use (for a small fee of course). Location was short drive to area attractions. Had a good selection for breakfast, most 'contienental breakfasts' don't include waffels, yogart and hard boile eggs. We were able to eat breakfast everyday at this hotel, which saved us money. Restaurants were close and local grocery stores as well.

This hotel was conveniently located for our business in Houston and easy to find. The service by the staff was excellent and ... extremely helpful. The accomodations were excellent for the price and made for an excellent stay. Loads of restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping opportunities also. We will visit there again the next time we go to Houston.
