The room had a bad smell about it.Also the remote did not work on the TV(We changed remotes 4 times!),so we changed rooms.The ... new room smelled just as bad.The location was nice and the help was very nice but just not very good at what they do.Plenty of "I'm sorry's" by the staff but that did not ease the disappointment.Overall experience just very disappointing!!

Nice and convenient to Charleston downtown. Stayed previously and had great experience. Similar this time although this ... particular room had some dark spots on the ceiling. Perhaps a previous tenants child flung some poo on the ceiling. It did look disgusting. Other than that 1 item, the experience was good.

It helped to bring my own GPS, because it is connected to Charleston by bridge- as is most everywhere. Staff was very helpful ... with info on checkin. Room was very clean, comfortable with lots of pillows- how did they know. Good breakfast in the morning- except no eggs- and great view of a boating waterway. Would definitely return there again.

I only booked this hotel because it was on the river. Unfortunately, when I got there, my room was not riverview. I had the ... view of a wall. I even called the hotel a week before to confirm that I had a riverview room and they told me yes. When I got there they told me it was first come first serve, and I was there 10 minutes before check-in and first in line. I would not have driven 4 hours if I was not gauranteed a "Riverview" room.

The hotel is so close to everything downtown. Short drive to everywhere. And you can walk to California Dreamin', which is a fun restaurant on the river. Not the greatest food, but lots of fun!
