In there description it said "can provide rooms with magnificent views". I missed the word "can" first time I read it. Most ... of there rooms do not have the "magnificent views". That was a little disappointing. But in Sedona, you can pretty much stand anywhere and have a cool mountainside to look at, so I got over real quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There free breakfast had good coffee and a waffle maker, which I thought was great for the kids. I originally picked this hotel, cause I wanted something different, something besides a chain hotel like super 8 or something. So I spent an extra $20.00 dollars for the better experience. But if I had to do it over again I would save the money and just go with the cheaper, better located hotel 6 or whatever chain hotel there is more centrally located. Not a bad hotel though, just not outstanding either.

kokopelli inn
lafawnduh Jul 30, 2009
I arrived late at night after flying into Phoenix then driving to the inn. I didn't know what to expect of my view. Wow was I ... surprised and very pleased in the morning! I had a direct view of Bell rock and many other red rock formations from my north facing, second story room. It was incredible - better than the view I had on a previous trip when I stayed in Sedona-with a much higher room rate. The staff was very frendly and helpful. The only bad thing about the inn was the housekeeping - they must have forgotten to clean my shower - hair on the wall of it. YECH! I did inform the staff and she apologized. Rates were great. I would stay again but look in the shower before I accepted the room! (It was really late and all I wanted was to hit the bed!)

If you like Mexican food, we recommend the Oaxaca restaurant in uptown Sedona.

Not the First Time, but the Last
Randolph Jul 9, 2007
We had to check out early in the afternoon of the day before we were scheduled to check out due to a family emergency. We ... have stayed at Kokopelli before (we are in the Sedona area often), but in the future we will find other places to stay.

The Staff was very friendly & helpful
Judith Jun 11, 2007
This is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff and a super continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and fresh. The ... location was great after spending the day in Sedona. The only draw back was the pool was too cold. We were there in June and I would have expected the pool water to be warmer. It was very shocking when you stepped into it.
