Great vacation for a short budget!

The trip was planned at the last minute. It was a middle point between Georgia and Massachusetts for me to pickup my daughter ... for her to come and live with me in Georgia. The wheather was OK for us to walk on the beach and go to great places for food. I guess if I was to add anything else to this trip, it would have been maybe a free Breakfast from the Hotel.

We had a great time. The two room suites are great if your bringing small children! The room was nice and clean and located ... just one block from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful i will defiantly be staying there again

Shopping on Atlantic Ave was 1/2 block away. Many places to eat and shop near by. 7/11 one block away as was Starbucks for coffee in the morning. Lots of ice cream parlors.

Virginia Beach has many attractions, many that are free or inexpensive. Namely, the musical entertainment. I would encourage anyone to do some research in order to take advantage of these attractions.

Wrong bed, but good value overall

The bed was booked as a king, but when getting to the room, I found it was two doubles. I'm not too picky so I didn't ask for ... another room. Also, the in-room safe was not functional, and there was no alarm clock (or any clock) in the bedroom. But the staff was friendly enough, and gave me no trouble although I was around 45 min. late checking out (overslept).

A pleasant surprise

We were very pleased with the accomodations. We were surprised how spacious the rooms were. Nothing fancy but clean and ... simple. Had everything we needed except a coffee pot. Would have liked a pool but at the price it was still a deal. Very close to the ocean and boardwalk -about a half a block. Quiet and safe. Several residents left doors open and walked on the balcony to watch a fireworks display. The parking lot was constantly patrolled by the owners to discourage others not staying at the hotel from using parking lot. We felt very safe. The bed's were quite comfortable.Great for a family. I would stay here again.

This hotel provided an excellent location (one block to the beach) and considerable value. The two rooms were spacious and ... afforded some privacy within. The only complaints would be the lack of a pool and a rather noisy ventilation system (not continuous, however). The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Overall, a good experience.

Went fishing which only cost $35 dollars for 4 hours and had the best time caught 60 fish. The boat supplied everything and ... put the bait on for you.

Knights Inn and Suites is a good hotel in a good location and reasonably priced. the staff we're helpful and courteous. The ... room was clean and supplied with all we needed for our stay in Va. Beach. Just one block from the beach. They provide close overflow parking as well.

The hotel is 1/2 block from the beach that perfect sand and life guards. There is a bike path and seperate walking path. You ... can rent bicycles, quad-cycles, and family bicycles for up to five passengers. This hotel is also in the middle of the shopping strip and clubs. The Rooms were of good size with seperate rooms from the kitchenette/living area. Parking is cramped, but you do get a space without having to worry about parking along the beach. There is no breakfast, but the location more than makes up for any flaws in the hotel. If you want a place to lay your head for a fair price, this is the place.

The stay was excellent overall. The bedroom plus living room made for a comfortable stay. The location is great, walking ... downtown for pizza at 2 in the morning (the pizza shop across the street closes early, head to Bella Pizza, it's the locals favorite) The staff was kinda uptight and threatening to kick us out if we drank in the room. Pfft. Steer clear of them. Otherwise, I got a good deal and I enjoyed being ocean block VA beach.

This hotel was worth the money. I liked that it was set up as a suite with a separate bedroom and it also had a kitchenette! ... It was right across the street from Murphy's Irish Pub, and the location from the beach was perfect. The only thing bad I would have to say was that the continental breakfast was a couple of stale crispy things, but at least they had coffee!

the only problem we had was we thought we were getting a kitchen with a stove and fridge coffee machine. but we got a ... microwave and fridge.thats what they call a kitchenette. they dont have a continental breakfast.its coffee and pastries when they get up usually after 7 am.they were friendly and clean.beach is across the street.

We stayed at this motel for 4 nights.Late the first night, we saw SEVERAL roaches in the room. The next morning, we told ... management. They moved us to another floor. Although we did not see any roaches in the second room, we were very uncomfortable because we were always looking around to make sure there were no roaches. It was sad because at check in, they took the full 4 days out of our credit card. It was a horrible experience.
