Cheap in every sense of the word
amazingcarita Oct 19, 2009
You get what you pay for (Very little). The room was cheap and I wasn't expecting much. The smell of stale alcohol and ... cigarettes kept me from sleeping (although the room was non smoking). The TV didn't have a remote. The breakfast consisted of cereal and milk, a few twinkies, coffee and Tang juice. Very miserable hotel.

The good, the bad, and the Ugly
CJ Sep 8, 2009
The proximity to the Airport is good. However, there is not much in the area. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The ... hotel is very old and the tubs are very dirty. The handle on the bathroom sicnk is broken, the sheets and towels are very worn out and old. I think the star rating should be a 1.0 The hotel needs renovation and remodelling.

Elvis Presley's home Graceland and the museums there are located very close to the Knight's Inn and that is really something. A must for anyone who is in the area and has at least just a slight interest in the life and career of Elvis Presley.

A nice and spotless motel
Jesper the Dane Jun 16, 2009
I stayed at the motel for two nights with my father, and it provided us with what we needed: A peaceful place to rest after ... spending the days in Downtown Memphis. It was an ordinary, very reasonably priced motel with nothing special to it, as it is the case with the far majority of the chain motels. They are cheap and ordinary, and when you just need a place to sleep and nothing more, that is just perfectly fine! Breakfast was included, it wasn't too interesting, but again just fine compared to the price.

OK Motel, in a lousy neighborhood
AceRaley May 26, 2009
Hotel was in a really bad neighborhood! As long as you did not have to walk to get around and kept your doors locked, you ... could feel somewhat safe. Lots of Gangs in the area.

Noisy neighbors ruined Friday and Saturday nights sleep. A lot of noise from parking lot area also. Shower worked great. ... Housekeeping cleaned well. Microwave and small fridge was included. Next time I will chose another to be with a better croud.

For low bugets
Dan Aug 20, 2007
Knights Inn in Memphis, The staff were friendly. Rooms were not real clean. I put 2 new light bulbs in but needed 5! Really ... need to use a crevice tool on carpet edges, they looked like they had not been vacuumed for months, need to vacuum under beds. Light fixtures were discustingly dirty. Cobwebs hanging from ceilings and walls. The good thing about it was that the bedding seemed to be clean. I liked that the vanity was seperate from shower/toilet area. The location was close to graceland. Neighbors said their room was full of ants. Iwould not return for the price we paid the room was not worth it.

Don't expect Cleanliness
Deborah May 19, 2007
If I had the chance to inspect the room before renting it there is no way I would have stayed. I already expected noise with ... it being so close to the airport, but what I didn't expect was the dirty condition of the room itself. There was dirt, food and dust piled into each corner of the room and along the baseboards. After seeing that I decided to look under the beds and wish I hadn't! Besides the filthy floor the walls had dirty hand prints along with what appeared to be food around all doorways. My stay was for 2 nights, I stayed only one night and found another hotel for the second where my feet wouldn't get filthy going to the bathroom. I'll NOT pay for a room again untill I have a chance to inspect it first.
