Worst hotel i've ever stayed in
Rob Sep 29, 2009
First off I arrived at 1:30 and was told there were no rooms available until check in at 3:00 pm. The girl at the desk ... didn't even look up my name or a room in the computer and for some reason was pretty snotty. I took a seat and watched a large group of people check into two different rooms. I then went to the other girl at the desk and asked if they would have anything opening up before 3:00, and she took my name and looked me up and said yes, your room is ready. Hmm, how hard would that have been to do for the other girl? Then the other girl came over and said his room isn't ready, they are fixing the locks. That was a bit alarming, and I took a seat, and five minutes later my room was ready. Hard to believe that they finished just a couple minutes later. So I go up to the room, saw rat traps underneath the stairs. Walk in the room, there are holes in the carpet, no alarm clock, paint peeling off the headboards, no lock at all on the sliding glass door. They just put a metal bar in to keep the door from opening. So I go into the bathroom, where there was 1 bar of soap for me and my roommate, and no shampoo. Turn on the shower and the handle fell off, and the knob just kept turning, eventually I was able to find the proper setting to get hot water. Then when I tried to turn the light off in the bathroom it wouldn't go off without flipping the switch up and down a few times. To be fair, the girl who was pretty nasty at check in was fairly helpful the next day helping us get a cab. It was still pretty comical how bad this place was. Price was great though.

The hotel staff was awesome. They greeted me with a smile and had my best interest at heart! The bathroom was a bit small for ... me to get in and out of but it was ok. A bit of bug trouble but not much. But all in all it was nice!

The HORRIFYING truth
Tanya the athlete Jul 17, 2009
I have never checked out of a Hotel early because of room and fear of my safety. Thankfully I had taken someone with me or i ... wouldn't have checked in at all and found someplace else. But i decided to check in and was horrified by the room. It smelled like pee, spray on insulation for the ceiling, there was a hole in the floor in the bathroom, the toilet was crooked, the ceiling was bubbling above the shower. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had at a hotel. I didn't feel safe, the neighbors sat outside drinking and stared at you when you walked by. I ended up calling my mother to get me a hotel else where and ended up staying at a Fairfield Marriot. My mom is out 200 bucks with absolutely nothing to show for it. I was only checked into this hotel for about an hour. Just enough time to find somewhere else. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially families with small children and people traveling alone. Definitely the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced.

Knights Inn Denver
Crash Jun 24, 2009
A very unpleasant experience. It looked like someone had pried the window open, which made it impossible to secure the ... window. The rug was worn and was frayed near the walls. The sink drained slow and there was little hot water. Will not be staying at Knights Inn again.

Just a place to stay
Timothy Oct 11, 2008
The Knights Inn was small and accommodating, however the upkeep wasn't all that great. The Tub was clogged and the toilet ... somewhat askew, and the heater only had 1 position for heat, and the phone didn't even work. We were only there for a night so it wasn't much to complain about. The bed was comfortable however, and I did sleep well. I guess I wouldn't mind staying there again, just maybe not get that particular room. At least its close to downtown and the theme park.

Not Great
ALICE Oct 4, 2007
This motel has seen better days. The rooms smelled, there was a cigarette hole in the blanket, no remote control, the ... furniture was old and scratched up, the ceiling was pealing in the bathroom, plus other things. The only saving grace was that it was only for one night. If I had known how decrepid it was, I would have paid more for a better place.

Darlene Sep 22, 2007
This was absolutely the worst ever hotel, it was so bad we didn't stay there. The outside is really run down, the sidewalks ... were not swept or clean. Beer bottles and trash could be seen. And the absolute worst thing was the fact that they gave us keys to a room that was already occupied by someone else. Needless to say we did not stay here and would never recommend this to anyone.

the staff was friendly, but had no knowledge of surrounding area. the room was disgusting, it smelled, was gross, dirty, ... there was no knob on the bathroom door, the shower was in very poor condition, the dead bolt didn't even have a hole for it, the pool was closed and the breakfast didn't have any juice, milk, just sweetrolls (ok ones) and coffee

Very Run-down
David Sep 10, 2007
When we arrived we had to wait for someone to check us in. The room had a broken bed and the bathroom was very dirty. The ... shower rod was so far into the shower that you almost couldn't shower with the curtain closed. There was only one towel in our room and when we asked at the front desk for another one they told us they were probably out but they did manage to find one. Overall, very expensive for what you get.
