The Keystone Lodge and Spa is an excellent hotel with some wonderful amenities and excellent restaurants. The rooms were ... large and with a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the morning paper service was a nice touch. The location to the lifts is very close with a car and only a 5 minute free shuttle away. Would be nice if it were walking distance but the shuttle made it convenient. The restaurants were high quality restaurants with some amazing selections that were prepared with care. Please note that, although the food was excellent, the prices were very high. There is one pizza parlor on the premises but aside from that, there were no other fast foods or reasonable priced food facilities nearby. The hotel also had a wonderful complimentary gym that was part of a full service spa. For fitness freaks like myself, the free weights were a nice touch and the heated pool and jacuzzi didn't hurt either. The staff were very helpful and friendly, though a little understaffed. When entering the facilities (during ski season), you will be treated to a beautiful chocolate Christmas display with a working train (made of chocolate as well). Overall, a wonderful experience and will definitely stay at the hotel again.

The Restaurant was DELICIOUS, try the game meat platter with Elk, Antelope and Buffalo. Very pricey. For a quick but wonderful snack, go to the pizza parlor in front of the ice skating lake.

This hotel was very comfortable and quite beautiful on the inside. The staff was very, very friendly, polite, and helpful. ... The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated with everything necessary to have a wonderful, relaxing stay. The dining room came very highly recommended by others outside the hotel and was also very beautifully decorated and appointed. We would must certainly stay here again and hopefully we will be able to return soon.

Breckenridge is about a 20 minute drive away along pretty Swan Mountain Drive. There are plenty of very nice places to shop and dine in Breckenridge.

Rooms fully remodelled; friendly, efficient staff; 2 minute shuttle to the slopes; 6 minute car ride to Dillon/Silverthorne ... where there is shopping, dining, and grocery.
