The hotel is great with good amenities and extremely convenient to SNA Airport. I really liked that it had an on site ... Starbucks, Hertz and Fed ex. The rooms were comfortable and large. The only issue I had was that the water and bathroom system smelled foul...so bad that I had to keep my bathroom door closed so that it didn't bother me. I also brought lots of bottled water so I didn't have to consume the water. However, an otherwise great stay...

Pros: This is a good place for the business person as it is in a very high profile business area. and close to the John Wayne ... Airport, which didn't pose a problem. Very friendly staff and nice looking building. For the single traveler I had a nice size bed. Cons: It is close to the freeway and that was noisy on one side of the building. Not really close to other restaurants, markets or things to do. Had a few problems with the room that was taken care of quickly and to satisfaction. Hotel bar is in the lobby, restaurant is small and all of it is over priced. sandwiches are approx $15, drinks $7 soda, $3 for 20oz bottle, Parking $18 a night and internet $13 for 24 hrs. IN-different comments, Small bathroom, soft bed silly hours on the Starbucks, sushi bar and restaurant all in the lobby. No night life at this hotel. Problems with tv signal and internet signal. It's hard to say if I would recommend a stay here or not.

We still at Irvine to watch the No Doubt concerts. Great location, seven miles to venue, and 5 miles towards Newport. I ... really didn't like the fact I got charged 16 dollars a night. They do that because there is no were else to park. Over all it was a great weekend. The pool was great and the fitness center was state of the art. The staff was very helpful and funny. The one thing I love that they do not block you from connection your DVD or game console to the TV like most hotels.

Weekend trip to visit family and friends. Good central location. Nice pool, with a covered area, good for keeping kids ... sunburn free. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean. Fees add up--internet and parking. Like that Marriott is smoke-free, but unfortunately smoking was allowed at the pool and people were smoking on balconies, this should be discouraged. Would recommend.

We came to my daughters college graduation, the hotel is a few blocks from the John Wayne Airport in a great area FWY very ... near. The Hotel has a nice sitting area with a big Bar and Sushi service however the prices are definatly Orange County with three drinks costing us almost 30 bucks. The rooms were neatly organised but very small. The parking was $16 a day or $20 if they park it. All and all you pay for convience, airport close with shuttles every 30 min to the airport.

Our room was clean,well appointed, but not large enough for the king sized bed or 2 people.Room layout was poorly designed ... for more then a single person.It was difficult to move about the room,and the clothes closet, luggage rack were geared to 1 traveler.I left disappointed. I will not stay at this hotel next time I travel to Irvine.

Upon entering the hotel grounds, the facility is beautiful. I arrived at night, so it was dark outside, but it was still ... very elegant and impressive. The dining area was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave directions to the malls in the area and were just generally friendly. Though I didn't need it, I noticed they had a Kinkos and either UPS or FED-EX shipping area, which was very nice to have. The room itself was very nice. The Irvine Marriott had everything, plus beautiful grounds. They also take guests to one of the largest malls in Southern California, and pick them up. I don't think there is a cost (tip of course), but I'm not sure. I found this out from the Shuttle driver, when he picked me up at the airport. Another bonus to this hotel. The only issue I had was the parking. A friend drove down from LA, and it took him 15 minutes to find a parking space and walk back to the hotel. That was HALF THE TIME that would NOT have been charged, since 30 minutes is free. We were going to dinner, so we shouldn't have had to pay anything. Other than that, everything was fine.
