We came out to Las Vegas for the NHRA national event, although the the location of the hotel is great it lacks in everything ... else. Our first night was fine except the room was directly above Carnival Court so we were unable to sleep until they closed. The next night we had to change rooms due to the cable/T.V. did not work, what a experiance that was! Customer service lacks at this hotel very bad! They should take some notes from their neighbors! I will not come back!

Fun Fun Fun.. It is a perfect location and very well priced. You have to keep in mind most places are easy to get to in Las ... Vegas, so why spend 1000 dollars on a room you may not spend much time in. Plus, the tram is right at your doorstep - very nice. The night life at this hotel was fun and the service at the table beat all other hotels I visited for my week there. The dealers that performed as stars made the experience more fun. Might not be very flashy, but made up for that with the price and atmosphere. The waitresses are very nice. :)However, I would not buy the transfer back to the airport thru [@], because it never showed up. I needed to take a cab, but this had nothing to do with IP.

The hotel is not worth your money. I had requested a "non-smoking" room but when I checked in, they no longer have a ... "non-smoking" room available so I was offered to stay at the main building but had to pay an extra $20/night! For the price I ended up paying, I could have gotten a room at a better hotel. The hotel looked old and "raggedy." The pillows are very uncomfortable.

Jim Oct 29, 2009
I was first placed in a low floor room with a view of the parking garage wall and no internet wireless reception. Front desk ... happy to move me up next day. Cleaning staff does a so-so job. Sometimes left coffee packets sometimes not. Entire hotel smells of cigarette smoke.(even in rooms with "Non Smoking" notice on door. They need to do a better job in the housekeeping department and segregate smokers and non smokers. I will never stay at a hotel again that dosent do this. Including this one. Great location and great (seemingly smokeless) showroom.

REQUEST A NON-SMOKING ROOM!!!
Christine Oct 29, 2009
When I got there, I requested a non-smoking room. They had none available. The room they gave me was bad. Very, very bad. It ... smelled awful and looked worn down and sad. It faced the strip, so it was extremely noisy well into the night. The next night, we complained and they moved us to a non-smoking room in the back. This was A LOT better! It smelled "normal" and was much quieter.

Mike Oct 28, 2009
Overall, I got what I paid for and I knew this going in. The parking garage is not convenient to the hotel entrance or room. ... The shower needed cleaning and grouting. The TV was one of the older models. The smoke in the casino as you walk through daily to leave is overwhelming but this is also true with other locations. I think the hotel needs a complete facelift.

Nice Hotel for the money. Just be sure you reserve a room in the main tower, not the Capri. Also, if you are into cars IP has ... the worlds largest classic car showroom. it's on the 5th floor of the parking garage. Definitely worth seeing. I wouldn't recommend the buffet; there are so many much better ones in that area. Drinks a little pricey- but if you're looking for cheap drinks..go next door to Margaritaville or take a bus to Old Vegas, which I personally preferred- had more character and charm.

Marty Oct 27, 2009
Perfect location near the Sands Convention Center, on the Strip and near shopping and entertainment. Rooms were adequate but ... dingy, carpet dirty/stained and casino felt closed in and crowded. But well worth the price of $60 per night for a weekday in Vegas. If one wants to lounge and play where they sleep, then I would recommend they go someplace else. When You need to play, go to Harras or the Flamingo next door. Harras has a very good buffet and some adequate restaurants that are convenient.

Le Village Buffet in Paris was excellent. The Imperial Palace gave us a coupon book that contained a $5 discount per person for up to 2 people. The 30 minute wait we had was well worth it. If you go around 10:00 am, you can get the best of both breakfast and lunch at the breakfast price by the time you start eating after the wait(they start transitioning to lunch a little before 11:00 am).
