The hotel is a brand new 4 story U shaped building that surrounds an outdoor pool/reflecting pool/firepit area. The main floor offers a lobby with commanding mountain views, two private meeting rooms and prefunction space as well as breakfast/social hour seating that is comfortable and slightly contemporary in design. The hotel is steps from the South Towne Exposition Center and the new Real Soccer Stadium. Utahi1/2s best skiing is a short 20 minute drive up the mountain. The Salt Lake Airport is an easy 20 minute drive. Hyatt Summerfield Suites is steps from the South Towne Exposition Center and the new Real Soccer Stadium. Prefect for my needs

I went to SLC to visit a studet living on an area campus. The hotel's proximity to a major highway gave me opportunities to ... be spontaneous I would not have taken advantage of, had I been even twice the distance away. Were my wife traveling with me we would have had to change rooms, for mine faced this highway; and though the constant traffic did not bother me, she wouldn't have stood for it. I wonder how easy it would have been to relocate to the quieter side should it have been necessary. Although I didn't make use of many amenities, other guests seemed satisfied; but for myself, having a kitchen was a pleasure!--I'd not hesitate to use this facility again! Thank you!

Good location for what we wanted. Dining was not within walking distance, but a short drive away. Breakfast was very tasty. ... Rooms were nice and uniquely set up. The best pillows ever!

The only problem was with my first room there was a low whistling sound through the air vent caused by wind from the outside ... coming in through building code required vents on the roof. Once I inquired the staff quickly moved me to a quieter room.

Everyone was very helpful. The rooms were clean and neat, well supplied for cooking in room and relaxing. Staff went above ... and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and that you had everything you needed. This is my second trip to the Hyatt Summerfield in Sandy, both Business but I would take my family their for vacation the first chance I got.
