Always a great place to stay

I always love staying at this hotel when I am in Sacramento. The cleanliness, location, hotel food, amenities, towels, ... sheets, etc. cannot be beat. The only drawbacks are the extra daily fee for internet use, pathetic cable channels, and for the first time, I could hear a bit too much pleasure occuring in the room next to me. So, go to bed early and you will find it to be a really great place.

We checked in around 5:30 Saturday evening. Our room was not ready for the king and had to take a double. Once we got in the ... room they would not bring us the cot was asked for saying we couldn't have a cot in a double room. We only had two glasses, two wash cloths and three towels for three people. Asked for additional - never received. Asked at the front desk for additional to be left on Sunday evening - that didn't happen either. The best thing about the whole exprience was the awesome courteous valet service. Very over-rated hotel.

Second, Slighting Disappointing Visit

I so loved this hotel when I stayed here in 2003, that I couldn't resist the Orbitz rate when I had to find a place to stay ... in Sacramento. The hotel was recently remodeled, so the room was lovely (if a bit crowded) and everything was brand new. Our floor was noisy due to a huge convention of teens and young adults, but the room was very comfortable. There were strange touches: no fan in the bathroom, the bathroom lock didn't work, the cord on the coffeemaker was so short, you had to hunt around for a workable outlet...weird things like that. The concierge service was outstanding, and the desk staff was very nice. The location is just perfect: near the capitol, great cafes, sight-seeing.

nice hotel had new air conditioning units, and that was teh explanation to why our ac wasnt working at all. Gave us a free ... breakfast buffet in return.Satisfied because at least they TRIED to make it better .

The Best of the Best!! We had a great room, with a great view of the Capitol, at a great price! The hotel is right on the ... end of the K St area--close enough for a walk--albeit a little long, but interesting--to Old Sacramento and the K St Mall. The best part was that we could walk to virtually anything or anywhere. Park the car and leave it.

I got to hotel about 6:30 pm Saturday night, only ONE person was working in front desk for check-in and answer questions and ... take care the in coming phone. I stood for about 20 minutes before I checked in. I traveled a lot and stayed many hotels. The best of this hotel is its location and the view (from my room) of the capital.

The room was huge- dining room - for poker i presume, a kitchette - the gathering room - which has the bed-- the bed seemed ... to the be least significant piece of furniture as it was dwarfed by the size of the room and the couches, chairs, etc-- The suite also had a balcony which was on the front - main street side of the building. IT's a pretty view of the capital however was noisy very early in the morning.

This Hotel was very great in most everything to mind. Staff were very friendly/helpful and have a great looking can do ... image. The room was in perfect shape and very comfortable. After a stressful day of a long all day training seminar, I felt I was on vacation. It was a pleasure to stay and I plan to return at some point.
