Great value for $/ close to airport

This was my first visit to Tampa; picked this hotel using travel guide for Tampa.Super nice hotel for the price; very close ... to airport and within walking distance of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Complimentary breakfast was very good.Only downside at all was the pool was a little dirty and [...]as well as guide book said their pool was heated and if it is; it wasn't when I was there...it was very cold!

Very friendly and accomodating, room was great. The fitness center was kind of small and confined feeling. The only real ... bummer was the bfast burrito I ordered. Paying $8 for that, I would expect the ingredients to be "real" but the eggs were spongy and didn't taste like anything same with the sausage. Potatoes were fine. It was hot, and it also took me 10 minutes to get my order. Anyway, just a bummer because for that price I expected some real ingredients for a decent bfast.

Since this trip was a week we got to go to the amusement parks both in Tampa and Orlando...Along with other places like St. ... Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota. It was enjoyable. The staff at the Hyatt Place was very helpful and friendly no matter the time of day. This was one of my better trips

We went to see a concert. The staff was great. They were friendly and answered any questions we had. We stayed at a Hyatt in ... El Paso TX a few years ago; so we knew the Hyatt in Tampa would be a great place to stay.

Went there for a convention and was really pleased with the peace & quiet, even though there were kids there. Access to both ... malls was very convenient as well as restaurants and Walmart!! Staff was very prompt and I used the shuttle daily. My sister & I truly enjoyed our stay. Will stay again!

Two great malls nearby, but shuttle will take you. One mall is upscale and the other is regular, so something for everyone. Walmart, Target and K-Mart in the vicinity if you needed to pick up anything you left.

The room was great as it was divide between the sleep area and a living space both of which were accessible to the TV. Frig, ... wet bar, and business desk were useful. A microwave would have made it complete. We chose it for the easy access to the airport but were please to find the room and staff were both great too.

The Hyatt place hotel had nice decor, a comfortable bed, a fun big screen t.v., and a large couch. The staff were easy to ... find and very friendly. My only problem with the room would be the fact that even though it seemed to have been cleaned and put in order, the couch had a noticeable stain on it and there was trash from a previous guest stuck to the bottom of the trash can. I liked the fact that you could grab a muffin or something to snack on at any time of the day or night.
