Great Hotel..Great Location
Brent Nov 11, 2009
Hotel was a easy check-in. We checked in at night and found our self struggling to see the numbers on the rooms. Also, there ... is no assigned parking so we had to park a little far from the room and walk down very poor lite walkways. Overall the room was very nice and you can not beat the location!

There is a shopping area on premises, if you park here it is a very easy walk to the uptown area for lots of dining and shopping, and than you drive through the large resort back to your room.

Just an amazing stay
Vicki Oct 15, 2009
This was our first time to Sedona, and it is the most beautiful place. We has a studio suite and it was plenty big enough ... for the 2 of us. The view from our room and especially balcony was amazing. We were in the newer section. If you have problems walking up stairs you may have issues since there are stairs to the majority of room. We will definetly return to this majestic place on earth.

Ron Oct 13, 2009
Location was fantastic and the view out of this world. Hotel was clean and new construction. Did not get the cleaning ... service for the two days we stayed there. I do not know whether this is the policy of this resort. Nevertheless, I recommend the experience.

A beautiful location
Allibaba Oct 7, 2009
We loved hiking in the Sedona area and visiting the Grand Canyon. The only problem was, when I got to the room the charge on ... the bill was incorrect. [...] I had to go down to the front desk and work it out myself. They gave me access to a computer and had me print out my email from [...]. We finally got it straightened out (and I was correct)but wasting vacation time in this manner was not enjoyable. [...]

Sedona, although small, is really not pedestrian friendly. When traveling, we love to walk to shopping, dining and nightlife, but especially with the road construction, you really take your life in your hands trying to cross the street in Sedona!

Excellent value
Redrocker Oct 6, 2009
I was attending a conference being held at the Hilton Resort in nearby Oak Creek Village. By the time I registered for the ... course, the Hilton rooms were $350 per night, which seemed excessive just for sleeping. I chose the Hyatt based on customers' reviews, and a nightly rate less than half the Hilton. I was very pleased with my stay. The only complaints I have are the room was not cleaned until mid to late afternoon and the lighting in the room was a little dim. The room was very comfortable otherwise, with a microwave, minifridge, dishes, and a small patio. The staff were lovely and very helpful, fixing a small problem with the fridge immediately. The hotel was also withing walking distance of the uptown area, but far enough removed from the traffic to feel like it was actually a resort. I would recommend the Hyatt whether traveling alone or with your family.

Great place!
travelover Oct 5, 2009
The hotel and staff were great, the views are fantastic, and it's conveniently located to all the great activities Sedona has ... to offer. The only problem was that the walls were really thin, so when your neighbors come & go, it sounded like they were in your room. Not necesarily a big deal unless you're next to a family with small children. We were in the newer section, so it's possible that the older section doesn't have this issue. The rooms themselves were very nice, but a bit dark. However, in a town like Sedona, you'll be spending all your time outside, anyway! We also liked the stocked kitchenette, which allowed us to save some money on meals.

There's a vegetarian restaurant called D'Lish (or something like that)just a couple miles west of the hotel that was really great. They had fresh, healthy, and tasty food at reasonable prices.

Sedona Joy
Scott Oct 1, 2009
In the heart of Sedona and walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, not to mention the attached shopping center. ... An amazing pool area with the surrounding views of the rim. Fire pit, grills, conversation areas, two hot tubs, and a ping pong table round out the pool area. Fully equipped fitness center with a full steam room (not sauna); rare in a hotel. Concierge services help you find the right restaurant and tours, many with discounts. Most tours will pick you up right at the hotel. We had a studio room with a balcony and kitchenette with dishes and utensils along with a refrigerator and microwave and small sink. No cook top in the room but nice grills in pool area. Very large bathroom with two sinks.

Pink Jeep tours is a must do. Will pick up at the hotel. Check with the concierge.

I love the Hotel itself, it is surrounded by beautiful scenery as is the town itself. I was not aware that this Hotel was a ... timeshare though. The apartment unit I stayed in was nice the only problem I have with it was that the units are not sound proofed at all. I could hear my neighbors conversation as well as any other noise made by them, especially slamming of doors or kitchen cabinets etc. (This was not pleasant).

Terrific Staff
FlyBy Traveler Jul 5, 2009
Last minute decision to stopover in Sedona this past week - hotel was a great find. Perfect base for hiking with amenities ... for relaxing afterwards (pool, jacuzzi, fire). Staff has little to improve - very attentive, friendly, courteous and helpful (true local knowledge - Thanks [...]!) without being intrusive. We had a late check-in and were tired - reception breezed us through. We stayed in a beautiful new, studio 1 BR w/o any problems. Our balcony had restricted views but we got in plenty on our day hikes and through public areas on the hotel grounds. We missed a late checkout but were welcomed to enjoy the pool and shower facilities on our last day.

Lady Lue Jun 8, 2009
The hotel was beautiful, great central location, amazing views and very kid friendly. We has some confusion with our billing ... - Orbitz had quoted one price and we were presented with another ... still trying to figure that one out. The pool was perfect for us, with a small children's pool located away from the bigger "grown-up" pool. All in all, I was very happy with the hotel.
