I was on a business trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free internet is appreciated. The room was big and pleasant. ... It was clean and the bedding was quite nice. I have ordered in room dining several times because I had to work in the room. They were prompt but food was everage.

It is quite nice to walk in the Newburry street which is quite close to the hotel. It is a nice area.

I booked the Hotel Commonwealth through Orbitz for one night to attend the Paul McCartney concert at Fenway Park, to meet ... with friends, and to shop on Newberry Street. The hotel is quite lovely with the friendliest staff and the most helpful people you can imagine. The room decor is lovely, and the rooms are secure and clean. The location of the hotel is fabulous -- around the corner from Fenway, several blocks from shopping on Newberry Street, and close to restaurants. The valet parking is affordable and professional.

If you are a knitter, be sure to check out Newberry Yarns at 164 Newberry Street which is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Both the owner and the yarns are super. Don't miss it!

My husband and I were going to a Red Sox game and Hotel Commonwealth is within walking distance to Fenway park. So we ... decided to stay there. From the minute we walked in the door to the minute we left the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, and said hello. They even upgraded us to a junior suite.

We attended a graduation and the location of the hotel was PERFECT and the price was reasonable..all things considered. Good ... sized rooms, clean; friendly, helpful staff. A lot of hotels cost twice as much. Good value for money
